Ars finally became useful for once and did show character development and more importantly, that he's starting to understand how everything moves in that world, and finally consolidate his place by merit rather than purely by sheer luck due to his skill.
idk, having his skill evolve into telling him the exact information he needed right when he needed it sounds exactly like "purely by sheer luck due to his skill" to me. I still love it though.
