This ep was straight heat, Ottarl this isn't a fight this is a 1 sided massacre. My boy Bell is eating dirty Holy.
If they somehow pull off a win, they should banish the entire Freya familia from the city. Familias are allowed to be there so they could conquer the dungeon but right now all the adventurers are fighting among each other because this crazy bitch is butthurt about being rejected. This level of pettiness and abuse of power shouldn't be allowed.
It seems the guild likes to favor Hestia Familia's enemies since they didn't do shit to help when the Apollo Familia attacked the Hestia Familia in the middle of the city, and this time they did everything they could to stop the Loki Familia from helping Hestia Familia. On the two cases, Apollo and Freiya were in the wrong, and the guild didn't do shit to help, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with the punishment if Freiya were to lose.
And there's also that thing that Freiya said about the three grand quests, so there's a possibility that the guild will use this as excuse to give her only a light punishment.
Tbh this episode was ass, what is that Lili's warring strategy? No plan B?
It's so random and embarassing to watch, filled with nonsensical dialogues like when Cyclops ordered the soldiers to stop Hogni's transformation and they replied asking if it was dangerous. Do you really have the time to contest your on-field commander's decisions like that? lmao
They clearly can't portrait a proper chess game, just fight like apes at this point.
I thought the exact same thing, lol. If that shit wasn't dangerous, the enemy wouldn't be using it in the first place. Waiting for the enemy to finish chanting a spell is so dumb. The same thing happened with the healer of the Freiya Familia. They could have stopped her mid-spell, but they just waited her finish it and heal everyone. Besides, why the hell did they let Bell fight Ottarl without a Level Boost? That should have Haruhime's purpose on this war game, but instead she boosted everyone else but Bell.
My first thought for the strategy for Freya's side was to just defend where she was, seemed too logical to make the weaker side come to you and eliminate all risk. I'm still surprised Lili wasn't ready for that though. Given that we haven't seen Ryuu or any of the tavern girls I'm guessing we'll be getting them next week.
Bell honestly did better against Ottarl than I expected, I figured Ottarl was about to walk straight through Argo Vesta as if it were nothing. I'm really interested in seeing how Bell turns it around this time because this fight is a lot more lopsided than usual.
I've become a Heith fan this season. What a badass healer, her abilities are kind of nuts and so is she honestly.
did they accidentally hit the bgm track for Bell's theme at the wrong spot, cause it was just him getting beat up lol.
Overall, yea another disappointing War Games, like the last one. No strategy whatsoever, just brawl!
What the heck with Ottarl's "I give you one free hit" But he just blocks the first hit anyway? what?
Remember when they wanted to keep Hime's level boost a secret? I guess everyone knows about it now.
Tbh I do not see how a win could happen here, I know their strategy is bland and uninspired, but what would you do when facing a fight that you don't have the means to win? I'm pretty sure they could just have it be Ottarl vs. everyone else and the Freya side would still win.
It is impressive that Bell's fully charged attack could hit just as hard as Ottarl's attack, but obviously Ottarl is a lot stronger than Bell outside of using argonaut, so of course he's getting smacked around like a toy.
This episode is so disappointing, between making the whole Hide and seek strategy aspect (and Lili) pointless in retrospect and all the skipping in the "fight" between Bell & Ottari this episode didn't really offer anything other than showing off how strong the Freya family is (as long as no one interrupts their chanting).
As an anime only, I would say this episode was "just good". I would say this episode is a 7 out of 10. This was not an amazing episode, but this was not a bad episode by any mean. This episode gives us a lot of small moments of characters we haven't seen in a while like mord, aisha, etc. We get to see more of characters we haven't seen in while. But I will say because there is a higher focus of quantity of characters, there is a decrease in the quality in the overall plot. Like the clash attack from Bell and Ottarl, we don't get any time to appreciate it. And with the small moment between Bell and Van, I really wish there was something more, it lasted like 2 min. Animation wise, nothing look bad. I've been seeing people on various forums saying this episode looked terrible and I disagree. Nothing was bad, I will say tho that there just wasn't anything eye-catching. Like I said, I am dissapointed how little we saw in Bell vs Ottarl. While I can't say anything about their production, I can only assume that because this season is 15 episodes, they spent less time on this episode so they can have more time for the final 2-3 episodes. That would make sense because this is episode 11, we still got 4 episodes left, so its better to make sure the final episodes are higher quality.
Ngl, the more I see Hogni, the more I like him, his introvertness and nervousness is so relatable, I love him.
Hmmm I'm not sure I liked this episode much. Mostly because Lili showcased really low strategy IQ and this got worse by seeing how everyone seems to only have 2 brain cells. Letting the healer have time to revive everyone. Letting someone else do their incantation while their commander literally said to stop them and instead of doing that immediately, they ask why? My god how are all these people even soldiers/warriors/fighters? They showcased no battle IQ whatsoever.
The moment Bell was discovered by Ottarl I knew this would go bad. He has no chance and I'm glad they didn't sugarcoat that too much. I also think it's really stupid how the gods on Hestia's side aren't spread out. They're all at one place. You shouldn't group them. Ridiculous. I do like the pink haired healer. She was a real badass this episode.
Remind me, why did Hestia agree on this war game? Just because Bell wanted it? Her gamble would risk losing Bell. Not sure why she agreed with this now that I think about it
