I watched it on TV, it's also out on some asian streaming services.
Crunchy will drop in about an hour.
Will season 2 be 12 or 24 episodes? The anilist entry doesn't contain the number of episodes for some reason..

i'm pretty sure it's 24 episodes, my memory is bad but i think they officially announced that on the official social media sites
It's a dual-cour season, so 24 episodes, with no break in-between.

assuming this entire season is gonna cover volumes 3&4 of the light novel that means THE FROG SCENE which are the last 3 chapters of vol3 should fall around the last eps of the first cour.

A really good start, but wow that ED was simply amazing. Amazing visuals, amazing song.
Well, it is what I expected maybe even better in some little ways.
Overall, the pacing and animation was good, by no means a spectacle but really that would just extract the special charm of this series.
The OP has beautiful visuals, but the music itself is a little hard to get behind.
Overall, I think were cooking this season as well and can't wait to see if they implement different countries (hinted by the ending).
Back to weekly suffering T_T I just finished 25 and I need 26 by yesterday...
So happy to have this back, loved the first season. The episode still felt like it was only a couple of minutes long which is on par with the first season.
i'm so happy to see maomao and jinshi's antics back heeeeeeee sadly this opening doesn't top the ones from the first season imo but the visuals were AMAZING
So far it was a slow start to the season.
Visuals were alright, just the CGI carriage at the beginning.
Dont know where to plot will take us, some things were teased but not sure yet.
I am suprised how much knowledge Maomao has.
I liked the first episode of the first season more if i had to compare it.
But i am really looking forward for this season.
Those were in season 1 too so it is expected
I had no idead that season 2 would have 24 episodes... I'M SO HAPPY !!! 
The amount of relief I felt flooding through my body just watching this episode!! I don't think I realized just how much I had missed this show. Also there is now a 2nd Maomao to fawn over!!!

There are a lot of detail in the LN, though, so I do recommend reading from vol. 1
