Honestly, if they didn’t keep dropping hints every chance they get, it’d be so easy to think it was Chii who confessed to Taiki a couple of episodes ago, not Hina. Taiki being super clear and honest about his feelings for Hina aside, it’s actually him and Chii who’ve been getting way closer since the confession.
And now with Chii living away with her mom for a month, you just know those self-realizations are going to hit hard. Poor Hina is in for a rough time lol. But hey, the holy grail of every Japanese school kid’s life, the cultural festival, is coming up, and Hina’s playing Snow White. So yeah, we might see some sparks fly there.
Also, Chii was already lowkey regretting things, but then Hina straight-up told her about the confession. Talk about perfect timing lol. That’s gonna sting, even if she doesn’t show it.
hina was MESSY for thatt, this whole episode was literally just taiki and chinatsu pining for eachother (ah im jealous...) but I dont really get what she plans to gain from saying that at the end? since chinatsu pretty much knew already I feel like she might double down on hina and say she likes taiki, or at least thinks she does
what's funny is given how things are going chances are Chinatsu's going to confess her feelings to Taiki before he does, because even if she seems to be the type to take her time eventually Hina's boldness and her being away for a whole month from him will force her to speed things up, not to mention the magic of the cultural festival doing wonders like it does every time
on another note i hope we'll see Taiki competing more soon, kinda miss that part of Blue Box - i get that the closer the characters get the more the romance part will take over but let's not forget it's also what made the story so good
also i thought Netflix was streaming the episodes one hour after Japan like literally every other platform, does that mean i'm gonna have to live in the fear of getting spoiled every week from now on because they're one episode behind...?
Chinatsu is finally making moves towards her indecisiveness and trying to come to terms with it. Love that Taiki isn't trying to lead Hina on for now, and we have that moment that made Hina's character go from "You weren't supposed to be in this series" to "You need to stop being in this series" for me
