I really can't find enjoyment in Jujutsu Kaisen, despite all the fans telling me it's good. So I've never watched it, only a parody.

  I agree. I’ve watched it and imo the only parts i found enjoyable were the fight scenes. I’m not a fan of the plot and as a result i found it quite boring.

I feel like it just got weird way too quickly and i found it quite boring. The MC’s sister was way too freaky and perhaps if i kept watching, then the romance might have gotten good but i dropped it midway through.

  I got bored and I never felt sad for anyone IMO almost every character was unlikeable in some way :( still pretty though and has a nice message but I'd never rewatch or recommend it to anyone

  Yeah I can see where you’re coming from. Although I think what this movie did well was the way they tried to make the characters seem realistic, despite the inconsistency with some of the characters.

I got through like a couple eps and I just couldn't keep watching like the way Hachi's friends treated her with her break up with that one guy pissed me the f offff

(also you have some some fiire fav animes :3 u have good taste)

  I totally agree actually but sometimes I feel like if I actually hate characters or their actions it’s almost mirroring real life !!! Like I would never do those things but I know it can happen irl

i'm just not really a fan of shounen, watched the first episode and it was okay but didn't captivate me really at all

  shounen anime (older ones especially) take more than just the 1st ep to get into so dropping it on the 1st ep is kinda unfair. if you have the time, i'd suggest watching a few more, atleast the 1st arc because hxh is one of the best anime out there and you'd be missing out not watching it. if u still don't like it, then there is nothing that'll change your mind

@pikkoo I'm never watching the 2016 anime with it's shit CGI in my life, even after I read the manga eventually. Btw, what do you not like about OnK? I thought it was pretty good before the incest bait in chapter 123.

  I'm sorry T_T It has nothing to do with the fanbase (well, maybe just a little) but it's just something I don't get the appeal of.. Kind of like your thoughts on deathnote. Doesn't help that I like one of the songs but the name I forgot.
  
  Beserk is great. Showcases humanity at it's finest level. The brutal truth of what humans really are. Merciless people. Reccomended.

  I really do reccommend it. If you're into philosophy and the critique/exploration of human nature than honestly go all for it :) It explores a lot of Nietzsche's nihlism in Gut's character.

As for this one it's just too weird for me to follow through and understand shit about it (I've got attention span of a peanut + not that smart). Also, the art style doesn't vibe with me even though most people love it.

  I think Sonny Boy is so situational. I watched it in between college and high school and I don't think I got it until I started college and had to experience that transitional state. Maybe you will see it differently if you come back to it later, although I do agree it's somewhat weird.

I am heavily against drinking alcohol IRL, and while there are a ton of things that I don't enjoy IRL that I enjoy in fiction, I just couldn't here. I felt like the humor was very repetitive and it didn't sit right with me

  That’s very fair tbh, the first season is a very low 4/5 for me. I think it has some pretty big issues that hold it back. Season 2 is definitely when it got a lot more interesting for me. I’d honestly just recommend trying the manga if you ever wanna give it a go again, because sadly season 3 looks like it’s gonna be just alright production wise.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica
I couldn't deal with the way Madoka never really did anything or became a magical girl until the late episodes. I guess that was Homura's goal, but it felt like the show just kept putting off its main plot even though things were happening and it really dragged. Other things I also found a bit shallow/confusing for my liking like the wraiths at the end and Sayaka's arc.

I remember being bored trying to watch this when it released, didn't even bother adding it to my dropped. Maybe one day I'll give it another chance but for now, it seems like a waste of time. I'd rather watch a bad anime than a boring one

  Maybe I dont remember it all that well, but I didnt think it was a that boring, just not too much happened in the first season. I think the world itself, was pretty interesting. Though I never have found it interesting enough to actually watch the second season
