I definitely believe in them.
Depends what you mean by "extraterrestrial life". In all likelihood, life started on earth when a meteor which contained bacterias that eventually evolved into the species we have today fell on Earth so there are most likely bacterias in places other than Earth that are alive, but not necessarily intelligent species. When it comes to Unidentified Flying Objects, well, as their name suggests, they’re simply unidentified. We can’t provably say that they’re alien spaceships.
I'm personally rather sure that there could be a planet with intelligent life somewhere in our universe. The chance is minimal but due to its sheer size, I don't think it's too unlikely.
UFOs that are supposedly alien ships, I'm not too fond of. Don't believe anyone who was advance enough to travel distances like that would want to visit our little solar system. And tbh, we are too focused on ourselves to even dream of not fucking up social relations to an extraterrestrial race.
Yea I think there's definitely extraterrestrial life out there because that would be pretty whack if Earth is the only place with "lives" on them. But whether they are intelligent as by human standard is a whole other issue but I still think there's probably intelligent alien lifeforms somewhere in the universe too.
I mean they could be discussing just like us, about whether there's other lifeforms out there too. Who knows.
yeah definitely. there are tons of galaxies and such so it's impossible that our planet might be the only living one.
But now it depends what kind of life. I don't know about super intelligent life, might be that too, but definitely at least other forms of life.
Maybe in the middle of a galaxy on a small planet in a small water puddle there's a microorganism swinging its tail around. That's still a life that will evolve (in million of years) to a somewhat more intelligent life just like we did.
But if there really exists a really intelligent form of life in another galaxy/planet, either they aren't advanced enough to find out about us (just like we do), or they don't have the possibility to travel so far (like we do), or they know about us but just try to avoid our planet since honestly we don't seem like the best people out there and we are killing our planet.
I imagine that if there is an advanced intelligent life out there outside of earth, they would be willing to protect their planet(s) at all costs, so we seem like some idiots to them.
I don't know but I really like thinking about those type of things and i am sad i wasn't born in a more advanced era in which we could have known if there are other life forms, maybe talk to them, i don't know.
I'm still interested in the migration of mars since NASA has been planning it? But i guess it's all politics and their plans are always cancelled by the president, or at least that's what i know from a video i watched last night coincidentally.
and no, i don't believe in green little men that do experiments on humans and such, i think that's bs.
Yeah you and I should probably not assassinate LOL. " The little green men " comment shows me exactly where your coming from. I here that ignorant stuff from the same kind of people time and time again and of course it goes right along with the killing our planet platitudes. For me what makes me at least believe in the possibility is Betty Hills star map and how a few decades later they found something that matched it exactly. Also the 1990's supposed " Alien Interview " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQxD1uUEz4Q And this video and channel about it was even more convincing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAVK91wcTlE
@Alessandra After reading your comment over again I feel I was a bit too dismissive. Though the little green men comment coupled with what I have to hear every single day , day in and day out about how bad we are for destroying our precious mother earth did admittedly trigger me a tad. I understand where your coming from but I just am not so sure they would be any better than us when it comes to that. Perhaps their planet would be dying and they would come here to live are something. I am talking about 4 in 400 % chance thing that could happen in the future.
The rape of mother earth imo is something that was unavoidable with our intellect. We always seem to consider humans first which I believe we should but the problem is with the tools we have and out technologies we have become so adept and what we do that it was bound to happen. Don't get me wrong I hate abuse or mistreatment and cruelty to any beings and wish we didn't live in a world where even in the animal kingdom might often makes right. Even though in actuality that is far from the truth.
Animals get a free pass due to their " instincts " basically because their stupid lol , but not that stupid in some cases. After all dolphins commit rape and hurt one anthers offspring for enjoyment ect. We live in a world where all the beings on it take and kill to survive and that is how it always has been and realistically there is no changing it. My problem though is how adept we have become at slaughtering each other as well. I'm more concerned with any nuclear war type things than pollution and all the abused puppies. I believe that sort of thing could be our downfall and I fear it as I think everyone does even if they are unaware of it. Anyway as for the alien issue I am personally leaning towards them being out there and having been here but I'm not even sure if their " alien" in nature or some sort of different dimension or who knows what.
I do believe in aliens, there is no possible way that among ALL the planets in the entire universe there isn't at least one which bears life, it's statistically impossible. I don't believe in "sci-fi" aliens though, like the ones that come in flying saucers to abduct cows all sneaky-like and put space microphones in people's anus, that just makes no sense lmao. If life on other planets has evolved enough to have technology that allows them to travel space at such great speeds then they can't be so barbaric, they must have achieved some form of diplomacy
Without a doubt, i often think they will witness what an embarrassing bunch of viruses we are and point and laugh, mocking us for our pathetic existences we lead, how most of us care about things that ultimately don't matter yet most of us are too damn stupid to realise that. I guess that makes sense, I think the majority of people have to be stupid since we need followers, if everyone was a leader, we wouldn't get anything done.
And then I just think well what if the aliens are just a figment of my imagination, what if all of this is a figment of my imagination since I am the only person I can prove exists, and all the things that a happen to me are due to my subconscious willing it to, and all of the people I meet in my life are just esoteric metaphors to describe my inner turmoil, but eh?! Who the fuck knows?!
well there is possibility that they exist. there is an equation which is formulated by a physicist and a mathematician(Drake) which predicts that there are about 1000-10000 civilization in our milky way galaxy and by no means this equation is redundant(it is mathematically valid formula). And if by any way you are only considering an intelligent and evolved life forms like us this number can easily be reduced to 50-100 or even (4-10). Since life can exist in any form, like may be there is a planet with life form like amoeba or fungi so it depends on what you actually meant by alien life form.
Also, it does seem very weird to even fathom that there in this enormous universe which is still not been comprehended by astrophysicist to its full extent which seems infinite to us only harbor life on this planet "Earth" . And you got a rather interesting taste in anime.
And i would to know the source of your question and if your interested in more stuff related to universe or cosmos then you could have a chat with me
