If anything, the fact that these kids are in high school and the animation is actually decent kinda saved it from getting roasted like that other series… which, let’s be real, still gets dunked on. But man, the total lack of any authority in literally any form makes it just as hard to take seriously lmao. And jumping straight into some civil war nonsense without even bothering to recap anything? Yeah, that just makes it even harder to follow—not to mention how ridiculously unserious it all feels. Like bruh, all I remember is some no-name dude’s friend getting himself into deep shit, and now our boys are gearing up like they’re the Avengers.

And seriously, just throwing in random dudes flipping around and doing acrobatics isn’t enough to make things feel intense. Pretty sure the show knew that too, which is why they had Nirei out here doing the dumbest stuff possible. Like bro… if you KNOW you can’t do something, maybe just… don’t?? People like him are the reason hospitals be racking up crazy bills. Anyway, Kaji had his "cOOl" entrance, and now he’s about to set these guys straight or whatever. But man… CAN Y’ALL STOP BLASTING ENGLISH SONGS IN THE BACKGROUND??? Please. You already got a decent OP and ED, use those instead

It already started off amazing! Ever since Season 1 ended, I jumped into the manga, and this fight was really well animated. Depending on the adaptation and the number of chapters covered, it might take around 3 or 4 episodes.

Here, Sakura is starting to show some growth, and he’ll develop even more once this fight is over.

This was a pretty fun reintroduction!! We got thrown right back into the action, this time getting an all out brawl against the whole gang!! I liked seeing all the characters fighting together and seeing little bits of their personalities leaking through! I also like the little bits of development that Nerei and Sakura seem to be getting, and I like seeing how KEEL acts differently compared to Shishitoren, being far less honorable and not being afraid to use weapons and gang up on you.

I did find it both weird and funny how the fight would pause during Dialogue moments at times- it took me out of it a bit but also I don't really take this show as seriously as some others since I never really saw the show as anything trying to be super serious (unlike solo leveling / wistoria) and so I can forgive it. Also, I forgot how funny this show is both intentionally and unintentionally- when our reinforcements showed up and that guy got absolutely FLUNG into the wall like he just got hit by Saitama that was SO funny to me haha

Overall, very enjoyable and fun, with a few developments festering for Sakura and Nirei as the gang faces this new threat!! I liked this episode quite a bit!

while i did enjoy this episode, i wont lie when i saw those background cg fighters it took me out of the primary action and was distracting. i get background cg is just a reality when you want to make a scene like this in modern anime, but honestly i wouldve genuinely preferred it had they just drawn a bunch of still guys in combat motions if they really had to save on time that bad.

  I was just about to say this. CGI really takes away from the anime feel, and sort of makes it feel like im playing those old xbox 360 games. They could've chosen a different angle to take scenes or even just darken the background to make it less obvious. It was good overall besides this.

I don't know if I should be happy that Wind Breaker is back or pissed at these pieces of shit, very mixed feelings there.
Also anything apart from the Nirei thing (That I do agree on, like dude you're the Info guy you can do jack shit in a fight so why tf are you even there) mentioned in the opening to the discussion is definetely not valid criticism, but just hating for the purpose of hating.

  agreed, though while i agree Nirei shouldn't have even been there, something Nirei himself even says i do like that Nirei recognized he was a hinderance and at least TRIED, shows he's growing a pair

  i'm aware but now we see him actively trying to help out more in FIGHTING not just providing support with info (not that that's bad that's insanely useful but still)

also ignore the first comment, dude clearly didn't pay attention to the series which explains perfectly well why they rolled up like the Avengers to help a bro, not like that's the entire vibe of Bofurin or anything

that animation was so creamy omg, this series was awesome if you just wanted to watch some thrilling fights and now its gonna be even better
