No way!! Our nerdy gamer guy is Wolf?!
Nemu reveal her secret: Nemu "I am a witch". Morihito and Nico can't trust Nemu, Morihito "I still can't trust you, though. We have enemies that are after Nico." Warlock after Nico, Nemu "Nico Wakatsuki is the Witch of Thousands. She possesses 1,000 spells, and will save 1,000 people. A special witch that comes once in a thousand years." Nico healed wound Kanshi. Morihito now understand prophecy Wolf after Nico. Nemu mention, "Enchanters specialize in imbuing objects with magic. I think they changed the candy into magical medicine so they can create human to control. It's difficult to imbue a lot of magic at once, but if you mix it in with candy, and slowly consume it, then it's possible." Nico power "Go, new spell! Slime Lotion Gel Amoebas!" Keigo fromer figuer skater skills able to skate on slime area, make sense. Nemu finds sigil (teleportation gate), Enchanter capture Nemu know she a cat/ witch, knows Nemu secret. Wolf wanted to save the cat. Wolf and Enchanters put a plan into motion waste no time. Keigo got intel on Wolf battle plan, later on Keigo backstab them what an ending.
The OP always made me assume Keigo was going to be a familiar - likely for Nemu - but I didn't expect him to actually be Wolf. That was a cool surprise.
Oh no Kei! I was loving you so much, especially since I was a Mod in high school as well. Big swerve, but an awesome and believable one. We also got more Nemu which is wonderful. I’ll really hoping she becomes part of the family of Nico, Moi and Kan. I’m assuming Kei is going to join eventually too since he’s in the OC and the EC.
I’m also happy that this specific prophecy is probably going to be resolved in the first cour instead of it looming throughout the series. We’ll probably get another prophecy that leads us through the next arc as well. I like this structure thus far if this is how it’s going to be going forward.
It goes without saying but I’m really impressed on how this anime transitioned from a one-shot gag anime into having a serious turn in a seamless fashion. Despite loving the gags I feel that I would have eventually got bored if there was no progress and dropped the show. However, they got me hooked now.
When I heard Wulf, I was like he sounds like Ishikawa Kaito but he's already voicing Keigo so it's probably someone else. It didn't click until they revealed it, lol.
