[Spoilers] Catch Me at the Ballpark! - Episode 12 Discussion

Another one finished. I rarely watch sports anime, but this one was pretty fun to follow, with some nice slice-of-life moments. There were lots of character shorts that helped us get to know and sympathize with each one, and that made every episode worth it. The only thing missing was a little romance between Ruriko and Murata, because their chemistry was obvious from the start. Anyway, it had a good ending with a new group, and I wonder if there’s enough material for a season 2 from what I’ve seen, the manga doesn’t have more, but you never know lol. Solid 8/10.

Best baseball anime since Gurazeni, a solid 9/10 from me. It kept everything that is good about sports anime. I'm probably going to go to a few more games this season because of this, reminded me how much fun it is to watch baseball in the park.

Wow, amazing - the entirety of this series was just amazing. Every single episode at least great. Every single short meaningful. I totes loved every character here.
The only thing missing from episode 12 would I guess be something to happen between Ruriko and Murata, while it's obvious since the first episode that their romance is slowly cooking in the background
I wrote that and realized that i'm quite happy with what we got here. I literally jumped up and started dancing'n'cheering when he said "I didn't buy any".

I came into this episode thinking that i'm quite content and I probably would'nt need season 2 in my life, but maaaan. I'm really going to miss Murata, Ruriko and every one else at MotorSuns Stadium.

The last couple of episodes were pretty nice. Overall, a very okayish show. 3/5

I feel it's fresh (?) to show different stories, but at the same time, it works against it (for me). I liked it but there were episodes focused on characters that didn't interest me. I would have liked to see how Ruriko's relationship with Murata develops.

Definitely top 5 of the season for me. Top 3 for single season anime of the season.

Geniuely surprised how much I enjoyed this anime. NGL I only watched it cus the fmc was voiced by Fairouz Ai, but ended up enjoy this anime throughout. I enjoyed this anime similarly to OKITSURA, another Iyashikei anime that makes you feel part of a community, also ironically the fmc there is also voiced by Ai. But overall I give this a 7-7.5 /10

Most likely going to be forgotten with time, but this series was my favorite from the season! A lot of fun characters and the different perspectives made it feel fresh every week! Pretty entertaining final stretch of episodes as well and I hope a season 2 gets greenlit!

Honstley i enjoyed it more then i thought and with being a baseball player myself i loved it more hope we get a seanson 2 soon
