Having not watched the anime is this movie going to be too short for it's content or is the anime so fluffed up it could be condensed. I can't see re-editing 2 seasons and adding more making sense.
We don't yet have enough information to know for sure how this recap movie is going to condense the material. The anime is not fluffed up at all.
There is a recent interview with the cast, where they say that new viewers could go into the movie blind: https://youtu.be/yyJwQyVt6Rk?t=2421
Rough translation of the relevant bit:
MC: And this work is a re-edit of the TV series Season 1 and 2—
Horie: That's right, yes.
Horie: So, even people who haven't watched the TV series can enjoy it as an introduction. And for those who have watched it, there are plenty of new cuts... so the content is enjoyable for absolutely anyone—
MC: I see—
Horie: So it's totally fine for someone who has seen it to bring along someone who hasn't.
MC: Oh, that’s totally fine.
Third key visual shows Kana and Momo
It was decent I think they were trying to gauge
How many people were interested? Not entirely sure if that’s what this was for but the series sold out my local Theater surprisingly! It was a good recap of both the seasons with the key moments in full display the use of the cinema audio made those moments stand out! We got a short visual story of the band but I think they are teasing maybe planning for a season 3 otherwise it was an awesome visual of stuff that happens in the manga! I hope sincerely they get a 3rd season I don’t think it would disrupt anything so far but man it took me back for sure. I love this couple so much ?
Glad I gave this anime a shot. Was a rough first episode, but as I watched more I understand what the author was going for. I ended up being very happy with what we have, have yet too watch the movie but I would be ecstatic if this got a season 3.

Indeed, many viewers bounce off first three episodes, and even those that keep watching don't always understand why the main character is so edgy at the start.
Yeah that was me. The first two episodes made me think the show would be set in the school club and focus on yamada's eating antics and the MC's weird chuunibyo syndrome.. I dropped it but came back to binge watch it when S2 came out and now its my favourite series out of the thousands I have seen.
I'm going to keep rewatching this show every few years its just incredible with the way it handles the characters, the pacing is incredible as is the music and the monologues I just love that it doesn't fall into all the generic tropes and has two leads that like each other without all the usual love triangles, or pointless predictable drama and it just does everything perfectly.
Straight after I finished watching it, I binged the manga, then I rewatched the whole series again a few months later.. I never do that
