[Speculation] Witch Hat Atelier Anime delayed to 2026

To surprise of no one really, it seems WHA adaptation got delayed to 2026 due to production issues. No official statement was given yet by the studios if I'm not mistaken.

  I'm unsure whether it was anime or the live action adaptation though. Could have been the latter.

I don’t mind this tbh, it’s way better than having production delays mid-airing. I’ll wait however long it takes. I’m just really looking forward to the music for this one.

  They probably will announce the delay... When they can announce the new release window and pair it with a PV.

Not surprised by this seeing as there has been zero news before this. I wasn't optimistic about it then, and can't say I am now either.

Despite being a newer studio, BUG FILMS has no intention of shedding its "production issues" reputation anytime soon.

I prefer it delaying if the animation and production is good. Atelier is a gem so I can wait

As I expected but it's better this way that it comes out next year rather than this one coming out by the end and it's not done well. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I've been thinking about this a lot recently... and in all honesty, if they aren't prepared, I would much rather have them delay the adaptation. I don't want a repeat of Zom 100 T_T

Hopefully this will mean we won't end up getting delays when the series actually starts airing.

If the anime is as gorgeous as the trailer makes it out to be, I don't mind the delay.

Having read the manga, it'll definitely be hard to live up to just how prepossessing it is with its detail and amazing panelling.
