They kissed, at the first episode, at the half of the episode.
I can see Naoto very clumsy and always make excuses. Poor for Ishihara. Satsuki also like to tease Naoto, but at the end Naoto see it as a threat instead. I can say Satsuki is bold enough to jump into relationship, maybe. So my advice to Naoto, keep calm and always listening to others first.
Anyway, one thing to complain here is a weird pace and the way the story started. Because I don't read the source material so I don't know if it's same as it. The premise looks fine but we'll see next episode.
Any manga readers here?
Another season, another "romcom" where the author doesn't know how to develop likeable characters and present a wholesome story.
I'm going to give this the obligatory 3 episodes but you're right, the pacing is off, artwork stiff, characters are one-dimensional, motivations and plot... nonsensical, romance is contrived.
Thankfully we're less than a day from the second season of My Dress-up Darling and can get a more wholesome romcom to consume.
Low hanging fruit some might say but this 10 year old younger sister looks and acts like she's five... at best. It gives me the impression that the creator has never been nor seen a 10 year old in her life. Also, how would the sister remember when Satsuki, the main girl, came over. She would have been four at the oldest given the 6 year time change.
As for the show's premise, it's weird. Super weird. Specifically the main girl. I see what the show was going for, but still... it's much. Yikes.
Man, this episode had no pacing at all. I'm going blind for this one, but my god, everything felt so weird. The author clearly didn’t set up anything interesting. I actually love rom-coms like this, but everything just felt so awkward and off that it left no impression on me. I’ll watch one more episode to give it another shot, but it’s not looking good."
Se quiser, posso adaptar o tom para algo mais informal ou mais polido, dependendo de onde você pretende usar.
So if im being honest, I did read the manga while it was getting translated. Buts its been a minute since I've read it so I've forgotten like 90% of the plot. From what I remember, its alright. Its not going to blow you away. Being honest here, its prolly at best just average, I remember liking several chunks of the manga. Ik there was one arc 2/3s in the manga I thought was boring, but overall I thought it was a 7 to me. This will mostly like be forgotten very quickly since it being another highschool dumb teen romcom drama, and for the fact that its airing the same season as dress up darling, fragren flowers, and bunny girl senpai. It had no chance to stand out. But its alright.
Honestly, this is one of those cases where Ik the manga is not good enough for the anime community to talk about for a while, but I'm happy it was able to get a anime adaptation. There are plenty of great mangas that still never gotten a anime adaptation, and there are so many terrible mangas that keep getting an adaptation. But this one, Im happy it got one
