Me when I first visited Akihabara
Love-kun!
Somebody make a romhack with him as trainer sprite.
I have waited for this episode :)
Sugita is great casting for an otaku. His character is really similar to Ogino from 2.5 Ririsa.
Ogino was literally the first character that came to my mind, was like "Wait, isn't that voice from Ogino!?" and sure enough, but also realized that the VA also voices a lot crazy character, where I thought "Why did I think of Ogino first?" I mean he voices Tarou, the other Tarou, Gyoumei and many more, but I suppose that's because LG and Ogino are such similar characters that he uses the same voice for them and different one for Gyomei and Sakamoto and another completely different one for Tarou (Man that guy has an insane voice range)
LG-kun is too cool for society. Good thing Midori turned him into a vampire so he can be preserved for all eternity.
It was funny to see Nazuna acting like the typical otaku but the talk about Akiba losing its otaku-ness was a bit sad :'(
I think we can even see the late doujin shop Toranoana (well, "nohana" in this case :'D) in the background, even if it wasn't located where the scene takes place.
you know... this is totally out of nowhere but i was thinking... what would be MC's weakness? like if he DID become a vampire (discussion on whether Nazuna can have offspring aside), what would be his weakness? since he doesn't really have much attachment to anything... and then it struck me, blood, specifically his, this arc has set up info on both weaknesses and the fact that an offsprings blood can be consumed to jump start your human memories, since the MC doesn't seem to have too many attachments and i HIGHLY doubt the author is gonna leave him without any weakness i think they'll take his blood and that blood will be his weakness, his attachment to his blood, or rather his memories of his time as a human, finally making friends, falling in love etc will make the blood he'd use as a kick start so he'd never forget his what is essentially the best moments of his life and turn that into his weakness as a vampire which narratively feels really cool and sets up a LOT of potential future scene's and drama
anyways again this came out of left field but it was a thought i just felt like i had to share
I didn't expect to get such comedy gold after the last episodes.Yofukashi no Uta really has a way of offering you a variety of genres, from action-packed horror thrillers to romantic comedies.
I was a bit worried about Love-kun's character, I usually don't like stereotypical otaku in anime because they are simply disgusting and irritating, but Love-kun is truly a real GOAT.
The author really did a good job of balancing him being an actual stereotypical otaku while also making him entertaining for the viewer. And Sugita Tomokazu as his seiyuu? Rudeus voice? They couldn't have chosen a better casting.
i love LG kun so fucking much. I can see why midori hoards him, dude is legit a nice guy. i'd let him turn me into a vampire (although something tells me he isn't actually a vampire).
Nazuna and Ko are true homies at the end, burning the man's ass smut collection. just like homies making sure to clear the search history when another homie be on their death bed.
the visuals in this episode are stunning as per usual (although i got war flashbacks since the episode is set in akiba).
