This episode is banger but every single decision by every single character in this is just super super dumb
only if suika didn't save that soldier it would have been fine and then kohaku going straight to enemy like bro..... you were not able to do anything in america against them what are you supposed to do now. so sad.....
Bruh, the whole blocking bullets from assault rifles with sticks is just super dumb. Also, the soldiers are even worse than storm troopers if they managed to get beaten by Ginro. I don't hate this season, but its these dumb decisions and completely unrealistic scenarios that ruin it for me. It makes the enemy look less intimidating than they were hyped up to be.
He's an idiot indeed and isn't a 21st century person... And there was never anything realistic about this entire anime from the start other than showcasing how amazing science is, and things have long since become more ridiculous, have you seen how outta nowhere they've been making things lately for example?
He didn't block the gunfire with the stick.
Stanley shot the thing apart intentionally—to disarm him, not to murder.
I do agree with the other stuff, though. Ginro should be dead. (Well he should have already died a season ago, but he should die again here.)
With that said I'm still enjoying the show as a whole. The highlight was never these direct conflicts. So them becoming bad is almost inconsequential.

I really wouldn't call this blocking. Sure, he did kinda make a move that ever so slightly covers his face, but it was more cowering, not parrying.
I'd understand if there was any intention behind the movement, like spinning the stick super fast, or something. But he's literally just standing there.
Even the natural recoil of the gun would have went around the stick, even if Stanley was aiming at the part of his face the stick was "defending".
So it's obvious that instead, Stanley himself controlled the shots so that each and every one of them will land on the stick: to destroy it.
And again, I agree with the other stuff. Ginro taking those 3 dudes down is 100% BS.
Honestly I just want Kohaku to be okay, if she's the only survivor I'd be okay. I think because Tsukasa said that Hyoga was dead he's probably not surviving. Tsukasa has been in an almost dead state before so him surviving is possible but because he already escaped death once I think he may not survive.
Suika f*cked up real bad... I hate this "we have to safe every one" mentality "Good guys" have.
"oh no, someone who is out to kill us is bitten, let me compromise the whole mission to heal her."
Guys, suika is a kid, not a 40 year old genius, its very on character that she'd save her, and kohaku would 100% go rescue her no matter what
i think kids are afraid of soldiers though
not of a dying one that needs help lol
bro, kids start crying when their mom gets hurt in the slightest way XD
no kid would go and help if there was a random dying person lying on the ground, twitching and moaning in pain
Of course they would? Why are you trying to make an argument that kids dont help people when they absolutely do?
cuz in over 450+ situations ive never once seen a child rush in to help, they are either crying/hiding or simply frozen in shock
And it honestly could worked out. It didn't, but it could have.
Suika and Francois were together. Two chesspieces.
Suika helped the gunwoman, and was therefore discovered. One down. One left.
If they wanted, Francois could have stayed hidden, and continued the mission mostly uninterrupted.
But she didn't.
Because she thought of a way to use this opportunity, and she thought it would go well.
If anyone is to blame here, it's not the little kid making a rash decision to save a life.
It's probably Francois. Both for revealing herself, and also for inciting the riot by throwing her knife to Matsukaze.
Or, arguably, the combat team themselves, for literally and figurative bringing a knife to a gun fight. They knew it was a losing battle, but they wanted to gamble.
Hyouga literally said sacrificing a few lives for the greater good would be worth it. He knew this would happen.
Or, actually, the author is to blame. For pulling the whole "I sense them" out of the deepest darkest caverns of his ass.
Oh damn shit went to fucking 100 darks unbelievably fast...
Yes their decisions were dumb but you gotta remember Suika is just an innocent kid and Kohaku's a hotblooded teenager, their actions totally fit their characters but lets assume Suika stood still for the sake of argument, they'd still be found and captured one way or another because the enemy is that capable.
I still think Tsukasa can take on Stanley one on one and I still hope we'll get that but at this point, if not that then I hope we get a forced to break his code and fight back Taiju.
here's the thing, sure it may have been dumb from out point of view but Suika is an innocent child who wanted to save the soldier, it may be a stupid decision but she's a kid that's been put into a warzone more then once and doesn't want to see more people die or get hurt so she tried to save the person
and Kohaku was also dumb sure but she's a hot head teenager who acts before she thinks, it's literally the reason why Gen pointed out it was going to be an issue and why he got scared when he realized she wasn't around, we as an audience know this and the characters in the anime know this as well, it's also why Hyouga and Tsukasa followed her
was it good decisions? probably not but they are decisions these characters were for sure going to make as they were the right thing to do in the minds of these characters, as "the right thing to do" is something different for everybody, and of course actions have consequences, which these ones were quite clear cut, it lead to the potential death of Kohaku, Hyouga and Tsukasa
