That Kagetoki was a real sh!t. A real real real a$$hole sh!t. Not only was he being cowardly by not competing in bowling by himself, but he was also playing cheat against those little girls. What a trash. He didn't have any honor as a lord at all. All he could do was win against a powerless person or a little girl. If he met a real warrior, I don't think he could do anything to them at all. Why so weak!?
Mai and Rina, you don't need to throw your bowling balls towards those pins anymore; just throwing your balls directly towards Kagetoki's head is better than.
I mean this is how sengoku period was. It's not like other periods. The girls really thought they can put their own ideals in a period where war was too active before Tokugawa Ieyasu ending the sengoku period by becoming the first shogun. Cruel, Evil and saw a lot of bad sides of humanity. There is no way nowdays believe works at the past. Said this before, the episode 1 where Mai was crying still ticking me about what is going to happen at the episode 12

The girls were stupid for jumping into danger with a gamble, since they had all the time in the world to prepare they should've waited until they enrolled and received actual military training. I get the show is about bowling but this is the kind of situation where you need to hold some power against your enemy.
Lol. The honor and chivalry among the samurai and daimyo is largely a romanticized myth. Props to this show for showing that.
I mean... He IS keeping his promise, he's just intimidating them as they finish up the game, for all intents and purposes he's not really done anything wrong, in fact he's rather merciful for acknowledging their challenge considering they are quite literally Heretics going against God in their eyes lol
Well damn they actually did challenge them to bowling LOL
If only the main cast wasn't trying to battle the casting of an Akira Kurosawa film LOL
I can't help but find this shit so funny at this point I really don't know how to explain its so hard for me take it serious at all like what the hell were they expecting doing all this LOL like HEY lets barge into a whole clan of samurai with KATANAS that clearly want to kill us ALL and challenge them to BOWLING !!! that will for sure be the best idea and they will for sure respect that and not doing to turn the tables against us highschool girls that only have the power of bowling balls !!!!! now this shit has turned into a alice in borderland game for Mai LOL
10/10 comedic climax
With how they were battling with the bowling balls at the start you wonder why the hell they didn't just give them all power ranger transformations and just have them duke it out with 100% powered up bowling balls or something LOL
Fuck that fortune teller! He seems to be the one encouraging most of the cruelty.
But still, fuck Kagetoki too for listening to him!
Anyway, one more episode to go. We'll finally get to see if all the Sengoku sisters and bowling teammates survive, plus what the full context of Mai crying at the beginning of Episode 1 is.
ngl... not sure what they expected, like i said last time they were fucking morons for taking the situation so lightly, they are dealing with people who want them DEAD, and while there's a history of pride for samurai and all that but that doesn't mean that always happened or was always the case, they tried to take modern beliefs and ideals and tried to force them on a group of people that grew up in very hard times where death was around every corner, go figure he upped the anti, also he didn't even cheat, all he did was apply pressure, he's letting them finish the game just intimidating them before they do so, of course i doubt he'll actually let them live but you never know
point is if your gonna go on a rescue mission like this you better go in with the expectation to kill, otherwise do everybody a favor and stay home, your just gonna get yourself and everybody else killed by being a moron
Edit: I should also add the fact that their plan was to show up and insult him was a death wish, their lucky he was actually merciful enough to go along with their shit since while they WERE shot talking him they were also interrupting a legal AND religious execution, they are by all means Heretics and should've been cut down immediately, all he had to do was say he wasn't going to take insults from a couple of Heretic Brats and ordered his guards to kill them
After taking a day to think about the episode again I am still at the same conclusion.
I did not like this development very much. This is purely a matter of my taste and I am not saying that the episode was bad. But going from a rough training / prep montage to a both silly and very anxious second half was...well not a good experience.
Normally I love feeling different emotions when watching / reading different media, anime being a big part of that. But in this case it just felt straight up bad to go through this.
It surely doesn't help that I went into this anime not even expecting this sort of intensity in the first place but that is just a side note.
I AM curious how they deal with Rina's injured arm and Mai obviously being psychologically overwhelmed.
But unlike most other anime that I did enjoy a lot this season, this one doesn't get me excited for the next episode.
I was really hoping this would be one of those shows where everything is resolved in the penultimate episode and the last one is just tying up loose strings. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be that. They just upped the stakes, so it’s going to be a seat-clenching end.
I’m glad that everything came down to bowling, and I liked how the girl’s plans were revealed as they were happening in reality. Plus, having the character driven and focused pre and during bowling moments with the first three girls was nice as well. Good story telling there.
I feel that the only thing the lord and the prophet are doing regarding their antics at the end of the episode is signing their own death warrants. They’ve decided that they have to die in order for this to end, and I believe the girls will make it through this. I also wilder when Nanase’s dad will show up. Damn next Tuesday needs to come soon.
