While I did enjoy this season, something felt different for me compared to the first. Season two, while having impressive animation, didn't grab me as tightly as previously. I didn't feel the fiery desire to keep up with every single episode. Did anyone else experience this?

  Same here, I enjoyed it but part way through it started feeling like I was watching Scooby-Doo with the amount of random villains and side quests

  actually it was the opposite, the first season felt more like Scooby Doo for me because of all the villains and how most of them they beat by running away or doing something clever which i actually really liked, this season had a lot more of actual proper fights which were cool and all but kinda killed the vibe of it being just kids going up against literal demons and aliens, like sure give us a few fights i don't mind but i wish they treated them like Season 1 where a lot of their victories were them doing something clever not just who got the best punch in, felt less intense

  I love absurdity and this is becoming one of my most loved anime

  I think we just got way more fights than last season.
  Which is by far the weakest part of this show IMO.
  
  And I mean straight up fights, not like the episode running from Turbo Baba.
  I think the only real exception to this was the fight with Jashi right before he got captured by Seiko descending from the UFO.

  S1 had a lot of novelty while S2 was more of the same. S2 had a lot of hype moments that I don't mind rewatching though.
  As long as the anime remains entertaining, I'll keep watching.

  I still enjoyed it as much as season one, but i do agree it had a different feeling, there was less information, and it focussed more on random events.

  i cant really put my finger on it. but i really didn't enjoy this as much as everyone else did. i just dont have the desire to know what was going to happen next.
  
  at first i thought it was the romance, but it seems like the romance is hardly a point in this show. maybe its the characters? like, the character writing isnt as strong as other shows airing right now (that i care about) like dr stone. but idk, the character writing is pretty strong.

  I personally preferred this season over season 1. I think season 2 had much better pacing than the first season. Additionally, the group dynamic really makes season 2 shine because of how well the cast works together. I also think season 2 had much better humor because their were times during season 1 where some of the humor was a little too much for me.

  Same thoughts here for the anime, but that's also probably because I already caught up with the manga lol. I enjoyed the episode finale though, it was so goofy

  Same, even though the first few episodes leading up to the control of Evil Eye were really great, the pace seemed to slow down a lot towards the end.
