And with that guys Yofukashi no Uta Season 2 ended. Amazing as season 1. The ending also good too and hoping to see season 3. I said this at season 1, the night in this anime is just on different level. Like how much attention and detailed they gave for the night sky and the vibe of the night life is just amazing. We also saw my favorite Anko going wild in this season since in the previous season she didn't appear much. Now she also became his Waifu. As a manga reader, all I can say it that season 3 will be amazing compared to previous season. I am really waiting to see season 3. As for now goodbye, Anko and Nazuna! (My Score: 10)

The ending of the manga is a sh*t if you loved Nazuna x Yamori combo in romance way
Never in my wildest thoughts would I have imagined that just a season after her villain-y introduction, Anko would end up becoming part of the group like this... I mean, bringing her to Nazuna’s place just because she got so wasted lmaooo. Really liked that conversation between her and Kou, with Kou having to stay as her “bedside companion” and all. The interactions Kou had with both Nazuna and Anko this episode were great overall. That whole conversation about trying to figure out (yet again) what it means to be “normal” was so wholesome, made me realize how much I’m going to miss them now that this season is over.
Personally I still would’ve liked to see the three of them just crash and sleep together, but Anko persuading Nazuna to sell out Kou was also pretty great lmao. Still, that whole scene hit really hard, was super emotional. I honestly love how the series built Anko up as this iron-clad, borderline insane force, only to peel back the layers and show how desperate and tormented she really was inside. Kou is such a good boy, and now it feels like we’ve found a way to tie things back to Kiku and Seki... maybe in season three? Hopefully, and soon.
My audible gasp when ED 1 started playing out of nowhere. It seems like they made this in tandem with season 1 or is it just me? I feel like they definitely made both of these seasons side by side because of all the callbacks and the "summary" vibe of this episode.
Would love to see more. Definitely a personal Anime Of The Season for me and quite possibly, Of the Year.
I burst into happiness the moment I saw that spinning lemon, I was in a tuff spot when I first watched season one, and every time one episode ended I would let the ending play out, because it just made me happy, and it put a smile in my face, as if for a few moments, everything was perfect, so I really appreciate this fan-service they did, this anime just has a different from usual and completely comfortable and fun vibe that I rarely see.
Hearing "Tennis Ball" by the end of the episode did become quite a cool moment too.
Great follow-up to the great 1st season. A bit disappointed they didn't announce the 3rd season at the end. Hopefully, it will come <3
Loved that part lol, Nazuna so excited about 30,000 yen :-D
And it only made the following scene where Anko's pouring her heart out even more heart-wrenching (Miyuki Sawashiro is too good).
And after season 1's OP in last week's episode, it was great to see season 1's ED come back too.
With new Nazuna art to boot.

If you thought it was weird that they would just leave Kyoko to go a party, it's because it's filler, in the manga they just walked around and then went back home. This addition means they made an active decision to intentionally not use that extra screentime to add the insane reveal that would be a cliffhanger for the next arc... don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Probably means a season 3 hasn't been greenlit (yet).
What an amazing adventure it was, even though I rated both seasons 10/10, this one was surprisingly even better than the first one.
Not only did we get what we already had in season 1, cool night walking and interesting dialogues and character relationships but even things we didn't get in season 1.
Important information about vampires, the story of Nazuna's birth, Kabura's story, and Anko's story, with 8th episode being the best of the entire series. What happened in her house still gives me chills. But the anime still had its funny moments, episode 6 with LG made me laugh so much you can't imagine.
Actually, I noticed an interesting thing about this anime, namely that it doesn't have a main genre. In the first season you could still call it a slice of life (or rather night XD) but after this season it doesn't make sense anymore.
Here we have episodes dedicated to mystery and the search for answers, then transition into drama, then suddenly end with a purely comedic episode, only to suddenly jump into true horror. And after the horror, we get a series of action episodes ending with a peaceful night. This anime doesn't have one genre, this anime not only has almost all genres but also has them quite evenly balanced.
I can see how some might find this a problem but I'm a fan, I'm not picky and I love all genres of anime so an anime that's this good and has so many different genres mixed together is perfect for me, which is probably why I love it so much.
It was a great night, see you in season 3!
and now the night has drawn to an end... for now...
this was an AMAZING season, Anko was everything I hoped for in a antagonist: tragic, flawed, and a road paved by dubious intentions only to come apart, realizing the entire act was just a drawn out suicide attempt... i'm so glad that she's now part of the team (although ko and nazuna just leaving her there by herself is kinda dangerous, girl literally tried to kill herself, y'all should keep an eye on her man).
we got the coven of vampires convening, and whilst I would've loved to have kyouko have some scenes in the second half... i think she deserves a nice relaxing nap after the decade long murder hangover she's had.
i'm glad that they cooked with the lighting and backgrounds in this final episode. Call of the night drew me in with it's gorgeous lighting and amazing visuals, and this season delivered a LOT. Ko looking at the city one last time made me hopeful of a new horizon.
however, there is ONE loose end that needs to be addressed: Kiku.
there's not a DOUBT IN MY FUCKIN MIND that SHE is the one that caused kyouko's parents to get killed, and ko wanting to find answers leads me to believe she's the next MAJOR ANTAGONIST. I understand ko not wanting to kill her and find answers... but nah we gotta put a bitch down. JUSTICE FOR KYOUKO!
and i'm glad that the old EP came back for this episode, that song is so good it literally has an anime named after it, you can't deny it slaps! no shade on the songs for this season, mirage is a BANGER and the ending EP "nemure" is so comfy and fits with the late night drive aesthetic.
here's to season 3 babyyy!
They really knocked it out of the park this season I was a little disappointed at season 1 because I read the manga but I could never have imagined they would do such a fantastic job with season 2 there were some changes from the manga but I think it made the anime a lot better and them bringing back the original ending was also such a cool idea
