KaoruHana’s beach episode hits different. Subaru’s conflict about herself and whether it was okay for her to be there with everyone was handled flawlessly with help from Koaruko and the gang. Natsusawa was as cool as ever, we all wish we were him. The confession scene with the ED playing in the background gave me literal butterflies. The stars were aligned for it to happen, and thank god it did. Taguchi’s boarding paired with Shimodaira on ED duty made this episode truly an unforgettable experience.

Please let there be a sequel announcement next week. I can’t survive a week without my KaoruHana dose.

I spent the entire episode antsy because I knew what was coming at the end, now I get to walk around with this stupid ass smile on my face for the rest of the day. I also always enjoy Subaru and Saku interactions, always cute and awkward.

Really looking forward to the finale and hoping to see a season 2 announcement at the end. If one of those leakers out there wants to spoil us I wouldn't be sad at all lol.

I've been WAITING for this moment, and they did it so greatly that the entire episode felt special to me ; Saku getting Subaru the donuts she were looking at, Subaru actually opening up to the group noticing she has always been seen as a friend (how happy she is too MY HEART), the open-hearted talk between Rintaro and Kaoruko into this spontaneous yet heartfelt confession that just got me again as a manga reader.

I just LOVE how CloverWorks has done this adaptation, it feels like such a genuine, passionated project that managed to frame all the sweet memories and special moments so greatly that it hits me just the right way. I cherished every seconds of this episode and I think there are chances I rewatch this a lot in the future <3 Subaru's VA especially has done a great job to convey Subaru's feelings I just adore it.

I even teared up a few times while I already knew what to expect, the OST has just elevated all of this seriously I feel even more healed after looking at this animated. If they don't announce a second season after episode 13 I think I might explode.

I thought the scenes with subaru were too much, maybe it would be okay if we knew what exactly happened to her but It felt like it was dragging the episode down.

But the ending was great and made up for it

  Interesting take.I rly like the series and ppl hyped it very much. But tbh when I started reading the manga, I wasn’t expecting it to touch a lot on the friendship aspects, it was good and all but I felt it was quite slow too.
  
  Thought all in all, rintaro and kaoruko moments are sweet enough to make me forget about all that <3
  Plus we get an early confession!!

Yeah I still remember the english scanlations not being near caught up to this and me going to read the JP raws because I couldn't wait. This entire chapter made me tear up so much when reading it years ago and it did it again.

You won't believe this happened, but oh well. Ten seconds before this scene, I said to myself, "It would be funny if they confessed their feelings now, as a middle finger to the last episode of Project Cosplay" AND GUESS WHAT?! THIS HAPPENED! XD

When others here started shedding tears of joy, I couldn't stop laughing. An hour ago, I was complaining about Project Cosplay Season 2 and how the main couple had zero progression, only to watch this episode and get THIS. This isn't just the biggest plot twist of the season, it's also the funniest thing that happened to me today.

They've already confessed their feelings AND WE'RE NOT EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH THE MANGA! Now I understand why this is ranked 25th of best manga on Mal. It's clear that the author has some balls, unlike some others.

Alright, I've never been a shipper but I must say... Saku and Subaru would look awesome together. I've thought this for awhile now.

That aside, huge respect to Rintarou for actually saying it. UNLIKE A CERTAIN CHARACTER from another anime that has just finished airing.

When Kaoruko mentioned that Subaru also likes Donuts, I was like hell yeaaah.

I accidentally opened this thread instead of episode 11 thread a few days ago and read "I was not expecting that confession" without realizing I was in the wrong in the wrong episode's thread so the moment was ruined for me lmao but damn, was it amazing! But perhaps thanks to the accidental spoiler is why Subaru coming honest with the gang is my favorite part from this episode.

sadly this episode falls back into the half-baked drama of the first 7-8 episodes had. subaru was bing chilling with them for episode 9, why the sudden change? ive been really enjoying the last couple episodes because it stops focusing on the drama and they start acting like semi normal people.
