I've never been a fan of office romance anime because they've always been generic to me, but this one caught my attention with the teaser, and I really enjoyed the first episode. It's really cool to see the contrast between Yu and Azusa, ironically, as they both want to be what the other is.
I also found it interesting that they brought up the topic of professionalism and personal relationships in the workplace. Sometimes you're not a closed-off person, but being serious at work makes others exclude you or see you as petty (that's been my case).
I'm looking forward to the next upcoming episodes :)
Could you please tell me where you watched the episode? I am unable to find it on Crunchyroll.
Hey, @gaborm862 just letting you know that your comment here was removed, as piracy mentions are not allowed on Anilist.
Lady's cute and this is some harmless fluff that I can't hate, but it's still plenty forgettable and pretty wanting when not focusing on the many close ups of Kanna. It's nice that it did more than repeat the same sort of monologue over and over, making clear she's not so much girlboss as she is blunt and driven that's mistaken for standoffish gruffness.
Ultimately one of many cases still where I can't help imagining I'd get more out of the manga, though.
Am I the only one that got this 90's anime opening vibe from the opening? Also can kinda relate to her looking tough and unapproachable from the outside, but not actually being like that, a collegue once told me that they saw me at the bus stop listening to music, but didn't come and say hi because I looked pissed off, meanwhile I thought I just looked normal lmao
Damn, the art and animation budget for this must suck. I've never watched anything from this studio though, do all their productions look this rushed and lazy?
Was intrigued to see a new office romcom anime but this is distractedly mediocre so far.
The occasional good close ups really pop at least. She's such a cutie.

I like the main character, but something about the entire production just felt off. It clearly doesn't have the biggest budget, but even besides that, stuff like having the two-toned hair of that one character literally just be the same color as her skin made it look like they forgot to color it. Seemed like such a distractingly weird choice...
You have no idea how much that bothered me. I also thought they forgot to color in the hair, but then more characters started appearing with that thing... I finally closed the episode when the main character appeared with the green hair. I doubt I'm missing much, but even if it was a 10/10 otherwise, it just bothers me way too much to continue.
Little advise: Don't fuck with the company.
My narcistic ex was my colleague in my old job (emphasis on OLD) and it wasn't a nice experience when we broke up, got back together and I had hell almost every week going down because of her narcistic BS.
Of course it can go well too but the danger is there. Just putting this out there.
