Following the fifth title "The Assassin Sleeps in a Bed". After crossing the sea, Akira and his companions arrive at their next destination—the beastman continent of Blute. There, they encounter Crow, a skilled blacksmith who turns out to be a survivor of the previous Hero’s party. When Amelia approaches him for a heartfelt negotiation, Crow recounts the tragedy known as “Adorea’s Nightmare.” His century-old recollection burns with grief and resentment from that fateful night. Suddenly, an enemy demon tied to their past appears, and Amelia finds herself in grave danger.

The story doesn't do any breakthroughs, but I'm really enjoying the art direction, with the shadows and contrasts they are making.

Ok one neat change from most anime fantasy worlds this has is that the beastfolk are actually in charge of an area for once over normal humans (even have a villain leader it seems), like it never really makes much sense in anime how the beastfolk are established to be way stronger than humans and yet are always oppressed and weak lol.

Alright Akira my guy, what was the strat here, you send Yoru away with a vague "Go away!" used an ult and are now K.O. meanwhile Yoru is still gone since she went god knows where and Amelia is still kidnapped, while you are, I repeat, K.O.
Not much strategic thinking going on there, I see

  ya the director is high af, i bet he didnt read shit of the source material. This ep skipped like an entire vol to say the least XD its so annoying to wait for this to come out worse than mashed potatoes

Ah dammit... do we have yet another "OMG, stay away from me you beautiful woman who's into me!" character?

This trope is so annoying. It stands out in every high school kid anime, but it's just as bad in these fantasy shows. Why does this trope even exist? If anything stop making the hot girls immediately attracted to the guy & making it so obvious, that way, it makes more sense why the male protag behaves this way.

I think the fast pacing is fine. Much action happened, more questions raised not many answered. Also conveniently reveals the MC's OP abilities which can solve a monster stampede in a minute or two.

I'm guessing it's that ability alone that makes the MC exceed the Hero in abilities. Also Amelia is technically stronger than the hero too? So what exactly does a hero mean beyond a certain class in this world's sytem?
