Anyway, for me it's first time to see a different concept here where the otherworlder is antagonist or part of antagonist, when the protagonist is not otherworlder at all. Besides, I'm interesting to see the mechanism of how Scarlet use time based magic on this story.

Now with Scarlet's powerup he's hopefully getting the upgraded knuckle sandwich.
The lore dump was pretty interesting here, and having your villain be the isekai'd one is still super fun imo

Anyway, the lore of this manga was why I fell in love with it. It uses the tropes you think you know and plays with them in such clever and intelligent ways it leaves you excited and refreshed after witnessing it. There is still a few stuff you all will learn soonish. It's not the end of reveals, but I won't spoiler it here lol. There are 4 episodes left so I can vaguely guess when (at which plotpoint) the anime will end and I lowkey already want the 2nd season because there is so much more of this story still!

The absolute power of yeeting someone into the stratosphere as a rejection and then telling them to start again from birth. That's a hell of a "not now, not ever, because of who you are".
Big lore drop this episode too, including that Palmia seems to have become very "I will destroy all competition so you have no choice but to be with me"-yandere. At least Chronoa has Scarlet there to do a lot of punching on his behalf, and is even powering her up to punch even harder.
Also Leo laughing in the background when Leo finds out Scarlet is also a Saint (after deliberately not telling him beforehand). Such a good detail XD

I already rambled about the liberal nature of this show, so I don’t want to dwell more on it, but religions are another part of this conversation. While the religion critique is targeted with a specifically bad one (Palmianism), the concept of a religion in itself is not rejected because we have a universally good example with Dianism. And to be fair, with gods actually existing, it’s not the same conversation as with us in the real world, but even then we already see in this series how harmful, or even comical, it is when a religion gets so much power and influence. In fact, Palmianism is a state religion, so it’s closely intertwined with the government and their policies, which, as we see, is not a good thing. It’s funny how these fantasy systems get implemented in these shows to give all these organizations more credibility (gods seem to also mostly bless members of the aristocracy only, which makes them superior to the common folk), but even despite all that, these systems stay problematic. I’m happy that we finally got a decent action scene again, though. I think there’s not much to hope for in that department for the rest of the episodes, but if the final fight is going to be what I think it is, I hope that this one at least is going to be a highlight. Narratively the series is also lacking, but for the genre it’s not below average. I just dislike when we have side threads, like Julius investigating the mole, that ultimately amount to nothing because the mole exposed himself. We could’ve removed all these scenes, and it would’ve played out the same. It’s unsatisfying.
