[Spoilers] Gachiakuta - Episode 19 Discussion
"The Watchman Series" (JP: 番人シリーズ)
Amo’s shoes, Zodyl’s coat and Rudo’s gloves are all revealed to be parts of the “Watchman series,” items that were worn by a single person long ago. Zodyl failed in his attempt to make his own Watchman series, but through his experiments discovered how to make giant trash beasts with vital instruments at their core. He has devised a plan to use one to travel to the Sphere.

This episode made me love the Santas, such a cool duo, also it was hilarious to see everyone’s reaction when they realized they were in a trash beast lol.

They did a phenomenal job with the giant trash beast- it looks so fucking cool and the environmental animation was awesome too!! I'm glad they didn't just use CGI for this one. :D
I'm most likely wrong, but I thought the Jinki in the series might just be the three we know. The symbol represents a triangle and three circles, but they probably have another meaning. It's surprising that they've been inside a foul beast so far, so in its stomach or intestines if it were a normal creature, but that might make it easier to get out.
The moment Dia punching the wall killed me xD this episode was really funny with all their reactions!!

I call this the "nothing ever happens" show. Holy shit - does Rudo actually have any unique dialogue? He's spent the past 5 episodes just parroting back whatever lore dump person is in front of him. Seriously, the writers are channeling MGS's Snake for him.
The entire episode, we found out 3 things - Zodyl can make trash beasts, everyone is in a trash beast, and the plan is to fly it to the sphere. What else happened? Nothing. We get a cliffhanger where next week again, we'll have something minor happen in the first 5min, then go around the horn and hear everyone talk and make faces for the next 20min before the episode ends when something else is about to move forward - only for it to repeat again next week.
NGL this is one of the reasons shonens don't tend to be my favorites or ones I recommend. So much of nothing happens. I'll def keep watching cuz I like what Gachiakuta is doing/setting-up but ohmygod please can we get some plot movement?
