Although Nana Futami is satisfied with Nekonote’s work, she can’t help but become curious about their mysterious identity. Following Mizuki Hazama’s suggestion, they decide to hold their first-ever video call. To their surprise, the person who appears on screen is completely unexpected! As the conversation continues, a shocking truth is unveiled. Meanwhile, Toko Kakunodate suddenly visits Futami’s studio. Upon meeting Toko for the first time, Arisa Nashida reacts defensively, only for Toko to propose a “simple game” to break the ice...

Well I'm very proud of Sato for making the move and speaking her mind, I was actively shouting at the TV for Futami to tell Sato she wanted to work with her, Sato even trying to squeeze it out of her asking if there were other reasons. I think it's cute that it brought out her passion, the thing that Sato liked her for in the first place, catalyzing her decision to tell those harpies to get bent. Now if Futami can figure it out...
I felt a little bad for Ha-san this episode and that's not the first time that's happened. She's been Futami's support and partner, but Futami likes Sato. I dunno if Ha-san really feels that way about Futami but she's definitely put in the time and effort. Today, we see that she clearly likes Tomo, but Tomo and Yashida-san are weirdly similar it turns out and kinda hit it off. She was even openly jealous there at the end when they were talking about Tomo sleeping over. I worry about the poor girl, she's the only one with her head on straight, surrounded by a bunch of hot messes.
I do think the characterization in this show is really strong, you get to know these characters pretty well quickly, they're doing a great job with that. Looking forward to learning more about Nekonote too.
Futami: "A manga about Volleyball!"
Me: "Haikyuu!"
Futami: "...or sign language!"
Me: "A Sign of Affection!"
Futami: "...or a family comedy about aliens!"
Me: "Ugh...Dandadan? No, that's more of an action comedy...okay, you got me beat, I dunno."
I think the family comedy about aliens is Astro Note
All these moments from Satou remind me of how good this mangaka is at writing character moments. I'll never forget their other serier breaking me every chapter that came. Nashida's VA still killing it
