NGL. I didn't even realize that this was the last episode. That's how uninvested I am in this show lol.
First off. I've mentioned this before, but the class system feels pointless. Arel being a "Classless" feels like a nothing burger when he could easily outperform anyone with that proficiency without even trying. I know. He already had a solid foundation from his super OP parents, but not showing how he struggled (did he?) makes his achievements feel unearned. And if the class doesn't give you a benefit or being a classless doesn't give you a handicap, what's the point of having a class at all?
Secondly, all the characters are boring and forgettable. Arel being so OP that he could breathe past any obstacles is the most glaring problem. However, none of the supporting casts caught my attention. Mostly it is because none of them has any purpose or goal. I think Lilia is the only character here that has a solid goal, and that's why her arc was the most entertaining. I know that Arel's goal was to learn all the skills, but learning just for the sake of learning isn't fun to watch. Still, if his character is a bit interesting, that would be able to compensate for it. This has been proven in the 7th Prince, where Lloyd's goal is almost exactly the same. I don't need to tell which one is a better show, right?
The production side is meh. It's not bad, and it's not good. It's pretty much average.
Overall, I don't think the premise of the show was bad. It's just the execution that's flawed. Everyone loves the story about the underdogs overcoming their hardship (look at how popular Wistoria is, for example), but this show just turned it into another generic power fantasy where the MC could easily achieve anything without any effort. I can honestly not think of a shitter anime that I stuck out, the guy faced less resistance than a leaf being blown in the wind. To top off the weirdness and dogshit tier storytelling they threw in the "i want to marry my brother" tf have i wasted 6 hours of my life for.
Otherwise a solid 7/10 would rewatch maybe.
I doubt there will be any more seasons, cuz the major factors of this world is already completed; Sword and Magic. There's nothing really left to see, so I don't think they're gonna make an S2. I would surely watch it if they do make S2.

Bro why did I watch this lmao. This was dogshit. It was doodoo cakacaka. I got baited by lilia lmao.
Probably one of the worst MCs I've seen in awhile.
yeah, I guess someone hardworking, passionate, and dedicated would be pretty unrelatable for you huh?
Lmfao, good one bro... More like dull, emotionless, and uninspiring. But that would pretty relatable to you, huh?
Not sure why you think someone who can use every skill and cast all 6 flavors of magic is dull, hes very flashy...
And youre misinterpreting "Inexpressive" with "emotionless" its very clear how fond he is of his family and how much he loves them, but not everyone has to wear their hearts on their sleeves, it makes him more real in my eyes.
Crazy to call him uninspiring when an entire half of the season was him inspiring 3 children...
Well that was underwhelming. It was entertaining enough that I didn't drop it. But honestly, if there was one or two more wednesday shows this season then I probably would have.
And if the class doesn't give you a benefit or being a classless doesn't give you a handicap, what's the point of having a class at all?
Having a class makes you able to learn skills automatically. Being classless makes you need to work hard to learn skills. It was brought up multiple times in multiple episodes.
Compared to others in the season, this was slop. It was more entertaining than other slop, but still not good enough to satisfy anyone.
Animation was bad to mediocore.
Power System was bad and not really good explained.
Worldbuilding, i feel like we got none.
Characters were overall a bit lower than mediocore, i had worse experience so that is why (Smartphone isekai)
Story overall with everything above mentioned: max 5.5 because of me beeing generous
In my pursuit of trashy shows I might have finally found the most tasteless story I've seen.
Everything here is carried by pretty decent character designs courtesy of Yumehito Ueda, who appears to be a true veteran of art with great taste and skills - despite not being someone very popular.
There is reasonable praise to be given to other people who also did their job well bringing this adaptation to life, I can appreciate the production quality as I've seen much worse. Outside of obvious consequences of monetary constraints, I can't point out many issues.
The problem truly lies in the story - it's very much an uninspiring one, but as I don't ever want to be mean, I guess it's impressive of the writer to put it all together in a way that got it as far as getting an anime adaptation.
It wasn't a particularly enjoyable watch, but not the worst thing to unwind to. I don't regret it, and I wonder if I'll see anything else as formulaic and uninspiring as this story. I'm looking forward to that.
A pursuit you say? Might I interest you in some of my insipid wares?
Also, I'm afraid that it surely won't be fine.
