Giving this to Seven of all studios kinda made me think that they really didn't care much about this reboot... The jokes really weren't to my taste but considering how wacky it is I think fans of the original would be able to appreciate it. Shame everything was animated at 2 frames per scene with chibis to boot.

There have been, technically speaking, far "worse" debuts already, but this was one of the few that felt so much longer simply due to how obnoxiously unfunny it was.

Agree with everyone else, didn't engage with the humor nor animation very well. Still had some good moments, I enjoyed how the main girl loves this type of shenanigans.

Also was the ending of the episode OG too? Like how they skipped an entirely full year. Because I was unsure whether it was a reboot or a continuation at the time.

Opening is BOP tho. I'd give it one more episode to try to keep me.

It's so wacky and stupid my parents abandoned halfway through. Guess we won't have anything to watch for our pizza Saturdays this season.

I'm still continuing it tho.

yeah, I like this. It's so stupid and absurd, but in a fun way. I seem to be in a minority though, lol. OP and ED also kinda slap and I'm always in for a Taku Iwasaki OST.

Will continue and probably check out the 80's anime sooner rather than later.
