Is it just recap movie or sequel? Seems like recap to me
As I said in the post, "No indication of whether this is going to be a true post-Season 2 sequel or just a recap movie."

The actual announcement was vague and unclear about whether or not it's a sequel, but I see at the bottom of that ANN page that it says, "Disclosure: Kadokawa World Entertainment (KWE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kadokawa Corporation, is the majority owner of Anime News Network, LLC."
So, it's possible that ANN has access to authoritative insider information about the movie being a sequel.
