A strange intermission in the fight between Yoru and Denji-Man. The Locust Devil was oddly vicious and powerful, ready to fight both of them. Forced Yoru to let Asa take over so Denji would help her, only to then switch back once she could gain the upper hand in the main fight. Was this just Fujimoto needing a way to get Yoru on top again? or was the chapter title, The Taste of Shrimp and Blood, letting us in on some secret?

Yupp another chapter of nothing. NOTHING. No story progression, no development, none of that. Just endless fights. Like this is some trash and I'm not even kidding anymore. This fight has gone on ever since last year and it looks like it's about to go back to square one with Denji assuming the peace sign pose AGAIN. But you know what who cares right? atleast we got Asa x Denji team up so that means it's peak and this fight can be stretched out for another 10 chapters more, like for fuck's sake man.

Kinda wild that we reached a point that we can't even enjoy a new fight anymore, a new enemy and opponent that can be interesting, simply because there is no chance of fighting Denji.

I said this fight was bad from beginning and some fans didn't believe me. Now everyone is seeing it. I said it from beginning the fight is just no back n forth, it is just run -> get packed -> repeat. Not interesting and not well written. Fujimoto was trying to be gege or something. He wants something good for MAPPA in the future but this won't save this part from being mid or bad by these standards.

Denji ate a devil of some kind that will grant him some powers in next chapter, that's what I am assuming since fujimoto did nothing with the hell scene other than show that devil to get eaten for some reason. It is just convenient writing. Some fans will ravel on this btw... I am calling it because I am seeing the same trend of this part with fujimoto doing this bad writing moments and throws in a bone for the fans to accept.

It's just not exciting to read anymore and hasn't been for a while. I'm seriously considering binging the rest after I hear part 2 ends.
