[Spoilers] Chainsaw Man - Chapter 228 Discussion
Looks like things are coming to a head, just not the action heavy one many of us were expecting. Denji continues the cycle of running till he finds an opportunity to attack or speak or heal, but it looks like a mixture of trauma and actual care for Asa has affected Yoru. Will Yoru concede that her plan was never going to get her what she wants? does she even know what she wants?
Really good chapter ngl, hopefully we get an asa and yoru or yoru monologue chapter next go really top it off.
You know what, I was about to tear this chapter into shreds after seeing the upcoming two week break. But.... I liked it, finally some fking progression lol. It will be crazy though if this is how Yoru dies seeing as Asa's introductory chapters were implying she too was also a victim of self-harm with her words of wishing to have lived her life more selfishly. Contrasted with Yoru selflessly hurting herself to protect Asa's feelings.
The progress may have been slow but I'm sure it's gonna be very digestable on re-read and that's how I'm gonna rate part 2 Asa and Yoru have to be dead now
Not really. It is worse in a reread because you notice more inconsistencies in the fight and scenes.
Eh people said the same for part 1 so ima take this comment with a grain of salt the only differenece is part 2 is longer with it basically having two main characters i personlly never noticed anything out of line that we got from part 1 which is why im still reading it otherwise I would have dropped it a long time ago
You think part 2 is equivalent to part 1 in terms of storytelling and cast? Bruh...

Yeah people were saying this online things felt disjointed until it got to the ending then everything clicked if u checked the discourse at the time u would know, the storytelling is not out of line in what we got in part 1 it's still top notich i never said the overall cast was equivalent to the ones in part one at least the supporting cast, in any case the characterization on asa and denji alone is explored more than any of the part 1 characters as they are the main focus so it makes sense but yeah i stand on that part 2 = part 1.

You maybe the only person I saw who thinks the cast of part 2 is near or equivalent in any way to part 1 cast, but your opinion and taste. Maybe you think part 1 is not that good or something I don't know. Have fun tho
Bro it will be insane if Yoru and Asa die in the next chapter while still being in the same circle of blood like Reze.

Could be first chapter where something happens eventhough I do want to be negative with how useless past scenes were, but I will let it slide for this week. I have been negative enough on this part.
