Unsurprising ending, I'm just glad I don't have to hear "My childhood friend!" again lol

Basically this anime was never meant to be taken seriously, something that many of you never figure out until way to the end, "B-but it's like Kanojo mo Kanojo" lol don't come with that, this is an actual next level thing.
The mechanic was very linear, Eiyu does something, girls got feelings for him, something happens, then Eiyu resets everything back to square one. It wasn't about getting some relationship with any of them, but to enjoy the most tropes ever of a romcom and joke around how this would make your heart dokidoki
I'm glad it's over, props for the Opening animation being a 90 second choreography, that no one will make in a con because Hare Hare Yukai
I don't what exactly i was expecting going into this anime but it was atleast fun ...for the first 6 episodes, then it just nosedives and gets very frustrating. like the meta-commentary at the beginning (the literal title) was 'you can't be in a romcom with your childhood friends' and the ending is apparently "actually you can be in a romcom with ALL your childhood friends simultaneously if you simply refuse to progress any of the relationships past: Eiyu gets into situation -> get horny/emotional -> genuinely cute moment -> 'haha it was just a joke'!"
