Unsurprising ending, I'm just glad I don't have to hear "My childhood friend!" again lol

I was having fun with this one for the majority of the time, but these last two episodes felt kind of pointless. Kind of expected of an ongoing series though with seemingly no end in sight

I was actually happy for a sec when I thought the MC actually picked one of the girls, and it was a fun and unexpected pick, but alas, it was just bait

Have a seat Basically this anime was never meant to be taken seriously, something that many of you never figure out until way to the end, "B-but it's like Kanojo mo Kanojo" lol don't come with that, this is an actual next level thing. The mechanic was very linear, Eiyu does something, girls got feelings for him, something happens, then Eiyu resets everything back to square one. It wasn't about getting some relationship with any of them, but to enjoy the most tropes ever of a romcom and joke around how this would make your heart dokidoki I'm glad it's over, props for the Opening animation being a 90 second choreography, that no one will make in a con because Hare Hare Yukai

I don't what exactly i was expecting going into this anime but it was atleast fun ...for the first 6 episodes, then it just nosedives and gets very frustrating. like the meta-commentary at the beginning (the literal title) was 'you can't be in a romcom with your childhood friends' and the ending is apparently "actually you can be in a romcom with ALL your childhood friends simultaneously if you simply refuse to progress any of the relationships past: Eiyu gets into situation -> get horny/emotional -> genuinely cute moment -> 'haha it was just a joke'!"

  Essa sequência do Eyuu era legal no começo, depois ficou cansativo.
  Se ele tivesse tido um avanço com UMA das 4 garotas, teria sido mais interessante para gerar mais cenas de ciúmes e comédia.

I finally finished watching it. I got so fed up with the protagonist in this episode — he was being as insufferable as possible. It's a good thing Runako, being a deity, brought him back to reality. I hope there's another season.

i dont know if i would call this a "good" anime but i enjoyed watching it and would watch a season 2 if it came out. the last 2 episodes were meh tho with the weird protag arc
