[Spoilers] Hell’s Paradise Season 2 - Episode 12 Discussion

Ok so now we have like 4 sides fighting in an all-out war. Good thing we didn't lose anyone so far. Gabimaru still as motivated as ever to get back his wife. The new Gabimaru is just a yandere damn.
Hope the next season doesn't take as much time as this one.

This feels just right enough to have itself a movie, of course though i have no knowledge of the manga to see whether or not that's true. It was a fun season alongside the other goliaths this season! See you all in 2 years :)

  I believe another season will fit better here. The next season although mostly fights is still close to 40 chapters long.

That cliffhanger this was peak but was overshadowed very badly. Please Hell's Paradise don't come alongside JJK or Frieren next time. Also don't take too long for the next season.

  Its not a complain and its actually sad that a good anime like this was overshadowed by mostly jjk and not as much but still by frieren which were both peak but still let's say hell's paradise aired in this spring season it would have done great in terms of viewership and hype cause spring season is not as packed as winter one but well now I think this conversation will be pointless since it already ended.

  Jigokuraku isn't underrated or anything amazing so i don't agree with you,it has a good Score here and on mal,besides,many people actually watched it,it just doesn't have great moments as other shows for people to speak about it.

  It would have ended on a cliffhanger either way with 12 episodes. This is basically the end of this part of the arc and the start of another on+ things that they cut to show next season

It was a great season and pretty good episode. Really like this adaptation and hope season 3 comes out soon enough since we basically have enough material for one more season until the end of the manga

ending like that is CRAZY. This season was def better than season 1. Tao Fa and Ju Fa backstories were my favorite things this season. THANK GOD Yuzuriha isn't dead because if she died like that I wouldn't have liked it too much.

  kinda weird to me how they dealt with her "death" in the anime. i read the manga after ep 1 of this season cuz i had forgotten pretty much all of s1 lol, and the Ran fight got split here. Yuzuriha had "died" and then they went on to show the fights with the other Tensen, so when she came back it felt more impactful; I'm not sure why they chose to change that

  yea I saw that in the manga. im not a manga reader, but I was looking at the differences. I did think the only "weird" thing about it was that Yuzuriha came back FAST all healed up

  I think the main reason is that they wanted to keep the "main" fight with gabimaru to the end other than considered the impact of the later scenes. In the manga there were like 10 chapters that we thought yuzuria was dead which is like 2 of the fights+ some part of the invasion of shugen

What a great episode and overall season. I really hope we get a confirmation for s3 or next part soon. Idk why but part of me thinks that this final part might be made into a movie duo/trilogy. I think there is enough material to make a 12 episode s3, but with how this final part is majority pure fighting, I honestly think a movie trio might be better, kinda like demon slayer is doing with infiniety castle. But tbf its been a minute since the manga ended, so I most def forgot something.

But overall, a great season. 8/10

Really good episode. It ends on a cliffhanger which felt annoying when I watched it last night but having slept on it, I realise that the arc is over so it's not surprising that it ends on a cliffhanger. It would've felt worse if Shugen and his band of Asaemon and Ninja didn't get any screen time at all at the end, so I'll take it. Quite happy with this season. Interested to see how the next season pans out b

Shugen's such a goofy, like stop the crocodile tears. Nobody's gonna believe u 😭

This ep adapted the rest of ch 71, 86, sum pages of 87, 88, almost all of 89, and sum of the ending pages of 94.

Yeah probably not losing any more characters was boring... I also think the first season was way better, but I am invested now in the story. Weird moment story wise to wrap a season but I expect more carnage the next time.

And here comes the final group. This gripping and beautiful season ends with the start of a war of all against all. However, despite the fierce battle against the Tensen, I see our group in any great shape (I'm super happy that Yuzuriha is alive and well). Shugen's group, with the exception of three or four members, including a new suitor for Gabimaru, don't have others members strong. The Tensen, who appear to be making their final push, seem to be in the worst shape after their heavy losses, but I'm sure Rain still has some big tricks up his sleeve. I eagerly await news of a sequel!

I liked this season a lot more until this last ep. It felt like they didn't really do much here except setup for the next season. Next season should be super good though as it looks like it will be the finale.

Unfortunately i did not like the second season as much as the first One,many of the fights didn't have stakes to me when compared to the few fights against the celestial gurus(like the One of sagiri,yuzuriha,senta vs Munda or something)that had good animation/choreography and intense moments.
Everything just kind of happened and it felt more like a joke than anything else.
Nurugai is still useless(not asking her to be as strong as gabimaru or shion but at least do something i Guess?)there is some character development but it's subtle/Simple(yuzuriha showing that She isn't really selfish,since She put her life in danger to save gabimaru from death,toma trying to do things for himself instead of just following his brother,etc)sagiri unfortunately didn't do anything this season and everything ended with a bunch of loose ends.
I give it a 7/10 and hope that the third season ends well.
