I was surprised to see Dragon Quest show up like that. I wonder if anyone has looked to confirm if what Sai wrote on the walls matches the actual game code.

Also, Senku literally said "Famicom" ("Family Computer", the Japanese equivalent to the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System). It's interesting that he was able to straight-up say that word without violating a copyright or something. Anyway, the Famicom/NES isn't that impressive to us in the 21st century, but it was a huge deal in the '80s, and it would be incredibly miraculous for it to show up in Dr. Stone. Actually, if I recall correctly, they have already acquired CRT monitors at this point in the story, so they just need to make the computer and they'd be good to go.

  i doubt nintendo wants to go after the giants at Shueisha, Jump, TV Tokyo or whoever airs Dr.Stone for just referencing Famicom/NES

This new character is gonna make me quit the series. First the whole India thing was a bit of a racist curveball. Then I wonder if it’s more racist to be like well he’s only half Indian.
Once he started writing assembly on the walls I’m done lmao. This dude is ridiculous. I had to take assembly twice in uni and I can’t remember the op codes now. Unless this dude was coding in assembly why would he know all that? No game dev would be doing that unless they were an idiot. And the op codes only work on Unix based systems. Will they really be able to create that?

Also I bet you can use image processing to get all the assembly he wrote and use a binary compare to all the old and current dragon quest roms to see if it’s actually that. Or some hex to ascii secret message. Big dragon quest fan btw that part was cool.

  Bro, ITS AN ANIME its not realistic, he dosent have a pc so he just wrote it down, he is suppose to be a computer genius, no one told him where to start, he just read books so ofc he knows assembly better then you.
  And an Indian I do not take it offensive, so you are no one to speak about it.

Sounds like Senku's planning on making a famicom-level computer out of vacuum tubes...which would be impressive.
