In light of Uzumaki getting an anime:
What was the first manga you read that was later adapted into an anime?
If that doesn't apply then: what was the first manga where you read ahead of the anime release?
Kaguyasama wa Kokurasetai Tensaitachi no Renai Zunousen
This was one of the very first manga I ever read and the anime adaptation got announced shortly after I had started reading it.
Absolute Duo
It was Absolute Duo. Idk it looked interesting plus I liked the design of Julie so I read like 10 pgs(this was a few weeks before the anime was announced). After watching the complete anime, it was just bland.
My manga reading is all over the place so I don't keep track but I have read some Uzumaki few months ago.
Rosario to Vampire albeit the anime was already out by the time i read it
This made me curious, turns out the first one was Citrus
Oh man, that reminds me, I did actually read this a long time ago but I dropped it!
I'd forgotten but there was a period about 4 years ago when I had sworn off anime at the time but somehow I was reading a bunch of shitty manga instead. In the end I dropped all those manga (except for Gate, for obscure reasons), but I bet a bunch of them have been made into anime by now given the preponderance of shitty manga and light novel adaptations these days.
Lets see, Citrus, Gate, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord,...probably a few more that I've repressed forgotten about.
Attack on Titan.
In primary school I remember this one kid in my class always used to draw these weird characters so I asked him who they were so he lent me the first volume. Now Its one of the most popular anime.
The Seven Deadly Sins (Has an anime)
Kuzu no Honkai
Yakusoku no Neverland
Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai
^^^ this one is getting a movie but you really can't always expect to get a full anime with our precious BL haha~ T_T
To my memory, it is either
Muhyo to Rouji no Mahoritsu Soudan Jimusou
or
Kiseijuu
...but since my list data, especially for manga, is so vague since I had an approx. 6 year gap where data wasn't accurately recorded, it could easily be something else instead.

Can't wait for the last three.
I guess The Ancient Magus' Bride counts. I started reading it after the the first episode of 3 part OVA came out, which was a prequel to the manga and the TV series. I was captivated by the visuals, and I had heard great things about the manga. Also, at that point the TV series wasn't announced yet, so I picked up the manga and enjoyed it immensely. I was very exited when they announced that there would be a double-cour TV series. In the end the show itself didn't grab me as much as the manga did, but that's a story for another time.
Goodnight Punpun
I don't think this manga will ever get an anime adaptation.
here's mine:
Why the Hell are You Here Teacher
XD this is actually my first manga and i'm so hype when I heard it will be adapted. unfortunately, there's no uncensored version until the writing of this.
