i guess it depends on what you want from the series, the shonen genre from a glance is repetitive but theres different factors of each one that makes them a hit. that's my opinion though. also thats why some people will like naruto but not one piece. little things like that .

Welp I agree on that, I want a show to deliver this badass-epic experience that a lot of people got from watching JoJo 5 and I personally got it from Part 3, AoT and Mob Psycho 100 2. Part 3 had really interesting battles and villain and stands and setting, AoT has good mystery and characters, Mob Psycho 100 had a good character development.
The problem is that I can't really understand why for example My Hero Academia doesn't fit for me into the category of good battles and characters. The show becomes unbearable on episodes 10 to 13 for me.
