A Japanese jazz pianist and composer. She started playing piano at the age of six and enrolled at the Yamaha School of Music the same year. She later moved to the United States and enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she was mentored by legendary jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal. She is known for her virtuosic technique, energetic live performances, and blend of musical genres. In 2021 she performed at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
