Welp, first review for an anime, here goes.

(I've just watched s1, havent watched any of the later seasons, so dont spoil pls, if anyone's gonna read this)

Non-spoiler Review

This was a pretty good one, that's for sure. A lot of classic fantasy elements, but done really well with a few different twists to keep it fresh. The characters are fun, the waifus are great, the humor is on point most of the time. The best way to enjoy this anime is to watch a few isekai trash before hand so you'll enjoy the refreshing fantasy world of DanMachi (I'm joking, its still pretty good if you dont do that, because I didn't either). Overall, a solidly good anime, not great, not bad, just good.

Thoughts on the characters:

Bell Cranel: He's a good boi, the kind of simp this world needs more of. While his powers and skills are definitely strong, its not OP (yet).

Hestia: She's amazing! i absolutely love her, she's amazing. She's so hot(that fucking string, phew). She's annoying, but in a cute way and is also a simp, which is great. Hope she won't always be "the character that lusts after Bell and is always interfering with him and Ais/Aiz", because that can get really old really quickly.

Liliruca Arde: She's pretty good, I didn't really care about her at first, her character backstory and arc was a bit boring, but she definitely grew on me later on. Hope we get to see more of her in the nest seasons too.

Welf Crozzo: Overall, probably my favorite character so far. His ideals about Magic Weapons are intriguing and I'm curious as to why he reached that conclusion. Plus he's a really nice guy too, and is a perfect father figure for Lili while also being a really good friend.

Aiz Wallenstein: Another great waifu, kuudere's rule!!! I was expecting her to be haughty and an antagonist towards the MC when she first appeared, but she's a really nice person and also an airhead. Hope we get to see her with Bell more in the later seasons.

Eina Tuile: BEST GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRL! I don't know why, but I really her, and she's my nr1 ship with Bell. Give us more of her plz.

Ryuu Lion: She's really good too, I love her archetype. Hope she gets more screentime.

Syr Flova: She's good, not much to talk about her

Freya: Meeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh, i really don't care about her, she can fuck off.

Hephaestus: Short haired Hwaryun! She's amazing, definitely the sexiest character.

Bete Loga: I mean.... what can i even say? It's literally Accelerator's Design with Bakugo's personality AND voiced by Nobuhiko-san!!!! Perfection!

The other side characters are all really good too!

Thoughts on story and plot
The story is pretty okay, we don't get to see much progression overall in season 1, it's all just Bell dealing with shit that Freya throws at him and its not too bad. I just hope that wont be repeated over and over.
We still haven't gotten a glimpse at the overall world structure, all the events have been in the dungeon (yeah, U know its staying true to the title of the anime, but I just want to know more about the world and all the mechanics of the magic, etc.
