This is so bad, I'll just break it down into sections so that I don't go off like an idiot.
SPOILERS:
Plot: Acceptable. Not necessarily that good, but most of the problems I have do not come from the plot. I don't like how unrealistic it is, but that’s just me personally so I can’t really take many points away due to that. 4/10
Animation: Fine. I literally forgot that the animation was relevant since I was slightly distracted by other things going on in this anime. So it’s average I suppose. 5/10
Sound: Decent. I liked the OP a little, I liked the ED a little, but the OST wasn’t very noticeable. The couple things I did notice were decent, so some credit there I guess. 5/10
Characters: This is where shit hits the fan.
The characters are probably the biggest group of unlikeables I have ever seen in anime so far. First off, the MC is just an asshole who is also lazy and is also an idiot. He literally skips school because why not? That’s what all the idiots do, so he has to as well. Also, when the ghost girl shows up and no one believes him when he says that she exists, WHY DOESN’T HE JUST SHOW THEM PROOF? Also, why was he a sociopath at age 7? No one with a proper brain calls a little girl ugly and runs away. Neither do they slap their dying mother’s hand away. It’s just incomprehensible at this point. This MC is definitely the worst in the business, which is actually really difficult to pull off, considering how many rom-coms exist. But somehow, he pushes through.
So after like 9 episodes, the ghost girl with the brain of a 7 year-old just randomly decided to give them proof that she’s there. Why in the christ almighty did she not do that like 8 episodes ago? God knows at this point. And the entirety of “the crew” (excluding Poppo) are also imbeciles to the highest degree. Like why are you cross-dressing? Why are you talking to a piece of hair? Why are you crying? Why are you yelling? Why are you there? These questions popped up in my head incredibly often and it actually annoyed me so much. The characters genuinely killed this show, considering how basically every time someone started talking, I said out loud, “Shut up. Never speak. Until you’re dead. Then keep shutting up.” I actually didn’t say that every time, but I was considering it.
Basically, everyone except the big loveable guy that no one took serious and the dead girl who still acts like she's 7 are the only characters that I could watch without getting frustrated. That is simple to little for me to give anything above a 1/10
Enjoyment: Not there at all. I’m just glad I’m done so that I can flex that I watched this without feeling a millimeter of sadness. 2/10
FINAL SCORE: 3/10
Also if you wanna argue with me please do, discussion is always great for both parties.
