It's Better Than You Expected It To Be (Spoilers)
Hello! This is my review on Onani Master Kurosawa, if you don't want to be spoiled then exit out the review and finish the manga. Still reading because you already finished? Then click on all the spoiler tags for best experience. (Does contain some weirdness if you don't like sexual topics or anything sexual)
(MY VIEW ON THE STORY)
Starts off with a lonely guy, not much popular around the school and just trying to have a peaceful time in the girls bathroom in a stall doing his daily freaky business, knowing all he can do is yearn for these popular girls, all he can do is just pleasure himself by ejaculating in the school girls bathroom. After he finishes satisfying himself in the stall all by himself, when he exits, he bumps into this random girl from his class which soon later will legit make him do these crazy assignments assigned from her. You'll never see a guy in a girls restroom obviously, unless you're a janitor cleaning out the stalls and area. (Only when it's non-school days)
This random girl, who's called Kitahara gives lonely guy who we will call Kurosawa (Main Character) these nasty task to do for her since she gets bullied by these popular girls, getting picked on, causing self harm, anger, and this anger leads to having to ask Kurosawa to ejaculate on the bullies textbooks, school clothes, etc. Why ask Kurosawa? Apparently during the time when she was getting picked on by the bullies, Kurosawa couldn't take it and ejaculate on the bullies school clothes. Later he's in his little stall in the girls bathroom pleasuring himself like usual since it's his daily routine during/after school, Kitahara is onto something and knows that Kurosawa isn't a cleaner cleaning the girls restroom.
Kitahara is very caught up onto what Kurosawa did since it makes sense that he's in the girls restroom in a stall when he could just use the men's stall. Kurosawa is caught in his daily freaky routine and has to admit that he was there doing something freaky, and she knew that he had to do something about ejaculating on her bullies school clothes so Kurosawa thinks he done for but she askes him for a favor and his secret will be save with her. The favors she ask Kurosawa to do is something maybe Kurosawa can basically only do since he did manage to secretly ejaculate on her bullies clothes and traumatize them, which is to ejaculate on people she deeply hate belongings.
I say it's kind of wrong to inspire Kurosawa to continue this constant satisfaction he has and use it to traumatize her bullies, but Kurosawa does it anyways so he can peacefully pleasure himself without having it being spread around the school.
(ART)
I really liked the character style of Kurosawa. This may be kind of odd for most people but for me, it was fine with me that Kurosawa was at least decent looking instead of a chopped nerdy boy that is always stuttering every sentence. (Kurosawa kinda reminded me of Sasuke from Naruto)
It did feel a bit scratchy but this was drawn like way back in the late 2000's, so its understandable. (I do mess with the art style I can't lie, I like scratchy)
I also did like the female character designs.
(CHARACTERS)
Kurosawawas something else really. He was dragged into all of Kitahara's bullying only because he was caught and had to sign a deal to do whatever favor she desires for him to do, just to not have his secrets published around the school. A character I added to my favorites.
Kitaharawas understanding, trying to get revenge on her bullies for causing a horrible school experience, not giving her peace and only using her for their satisfactions. She did get annoying after Kurosawa disagree to do a task for her and basically broke Kurosawa by having the only girl he liked throughout the middle of the manga (until the ending which I will get to that after this category) get with his friend Nagatsuka. Though her experience was very sad and understanding, I wouldn't consider her a good person. The ending was pretty nice though where she got back on her feet.
Sugawa, a bully of Kitahara. Surprisingly got with Kurosawa at the ending of the manga which wasn't so bad for me since Kurosawa became a changed man at the ending.
Nagatsuka, he clearly wanted to be friends with Kurosawa throughout the start until the end where they became friends, surprisingly got with Kurosawa's little crush.
Takigawa, one of the popular girls. I honestly rooted for Kurosawa and her mostly. The part where it came to where she got with Nagatsuka broke me really, Kurosawa and Takigawa really had something going on.
There's more supporting characters but I won't be getting into them since they weren't really there most of the time.
(RELATIONSHIPS)
Kurosawa and Sugawa
I really didn't expect this really, but it was very wholesome at most. Kurosawa finally got a girlfriend haha then later got engaged, so a happy ending.
Nagatsuka and Takigawa
What? Also very unexpected, I know they had something going on at the trip, but I rooted more on Kurosawa and her because of the times they had in the library and promises they made and interests they shared.
Seki and Kitahara (NOT OFFICIAL)
Kitahara was forced to like Seki, even when she never liked him. She was pressured into confessing to him, kind of pissed me off when the bullies forced Kitahara to lie to Seki's face. Seki also gets his heart broken when Kitahara and Kutosawa hold hands at the part so Seki wouldn't chase after her (Mind you that he was developing feeling at the time too which made it worse)
(CONCLUSION/FINAL)
So far I liked this manga, some people may not like it because of the masturbation problem Kurosawa has but it was the silliest part for me. Thought the parts where it would show the mind of Kurosawa was disturbing.
In a mature way, this showed the improvement of every character and shows that you need to forget the past and move forward really. I'm also going to go into the state of yearning, yearning is mostly shown in this manga as Kurosawa does gain feelings for Takigawa but suddenly rumors of Takigawa and Nagatsuka dating were spread around the class and became true. During the time when I was reading this, I knew Kurosawa was definitely going to do something bad. (which he did) Kind of twisted the story a bit as well.
At the end, it was good that Kurosawa told the whole class that he was the one causing all the incidents of him ejaculating on these popular girls belongings, causing Kitahara to break down since he expired the contract between them. It was a very good read, I had to pause in the middle of the manga for a little while because of the constant masturbation Kurosawa was doing. Kept me on saying "Balright, what are we doin"
Everyone had a solid ending, including Kurosawa and Sugawa engagement.
(THANKS FOR READING MY REVIEW)
I know this seemed a bit rushed and all, I'm currently up in middle of the night typing this review hella tired because I finished the manga around night time. I would save it for tomorrow but I have plans later on. (My first ever review by the way, no hate please) Note that I am a very strict on romance, when an animanga has romance genre, I'm mostly focused on that but on this manga I did try to balance myself. I am slowly tryna balance myself out instead of trying to just focus on romance.
