way to read manga LEGALLY in japanese though the app store?

i cannot stress the legal part enough. (also i can read Japanese so this isnt an issue for me) I would like to read manga in Japanese though app. However i do not know how to use technology all that well lmao. so i don't really know how i can even download Japanese apps or even pay for app fees with an American card....

if somebody knows and could kindly explain it to me id be more than happy. any kind of information is helpful.

i do not believe that i am breaking the rules by asking this question but if a mod does have an issue with this im very open to discussing this in private

I don't know if this kind of app exists. I mean, there is lots of apps where you can read manga, but to read them legally in japanese would be kind of a Netflix but for manga. If it was me, I would buy the digital copy of the manga i would want to read via amazon.

I don't use it but the shonen jump has a official app to read manga, just search "shonen jump manga" in the play store or app store and you will find it easy

I remember I knew a guy who had this Japanese playstore app, where he could access Japanese language apps only, try looking that up and see if it helps.

I use MangaPlus. It's 100% legal and they're rereleasing very succesful manga for free. Thing is, I'm not sure if Japanese available on there. I looked it up but couldn't find it.

I have never tried making any in-app purchases though and I'm not sure if I ever do (I hate DRM) so I can't say anything in that regard.

And I'm not sure if you can download the apps on non-Japanese account, as I happen to use a Japanese one. But you surely can access a lot of manga through the web browser if you can't download the app.
