What is the best ship in anime the never ended up being real (canon)?

Hey! So I've been thinking a lot recently about ships like

Hikaru x Haruhi that never end up happening, and I want your opinions on which anime relationships you think should've actually ended up being together.

I often think about Misaka Mikoto and Kamijou Touma from Toaru Majutsu no Index. It's a pretty cute ship, seeing as Touma is the one person (excepting a few other OP characters) that she can't beat in a fight, and she gets super flustered about it.

It is canon that she has a crush on him (pretty sure, anyway), and the Genesis Testament Light Novels are still releasing, so there's hope still.

  I think the author made clear that they did not end up together because of the military’s law regarding relationship between subordinates & superiors but yeah we know

I only watched Aikatsu on Parade because I wanted more moments of them. But I only got one new momment...
Digimon:

Izzy x Mimi
some people say it's canon, some people say it isn't. But for me I believe it is because it's my otp and Izzy's crush on her is so obvious. Their kids also look like each other.

I love Takari but sadly it didn't happen. Because I grew up watching the English dub which made their friendship more like a romance. While the Japanese version only made it so they were friends. Because of the dub I shipped Takari and finding out from a interview from one of the people who worked on it made me really sad.

Been shipping this ship since I saw that Kris had so much faith in Free but he went and left anyways-

I was pretty sad when I saw that they didn't get together at the end. They probably could have later on but we didn't get to see that part.
