I'm just wondering what's wrong with mother's basement.
The problem with him is he fails to analyze anime.
Here’s what I mean by that.
1. he makes himself try to look good by just bashing Sword Art Online and no other anime, and just making points about things that make no sense and could easily be argued against with just a little bit of logic.
2. On his how to not summon a demon lord he literally makes no real points to why the show is good. I’ll even at least give him credit for the points he tried to make with Overlord trying to say that it would at least try to make it’s main character tolerable by being a villain instead of a hero overpowering characters. Here though, he doesn’t even make any sense with his argument because he literally just says that the show is good because it promotes fanservice. He doesn’t give anything for how How Not To Summon A Demon Lord manages to do anything different than any other ecchi and just praises it to the general audience. He also sucks off the sexual assault scene that is literally the same as sao yet he only complains about sao sexual assault scene
3. Most of his videos in logic is that he bashes sao. just to basically protect himself and because he only looks at individual aspects of a series and just praises them because he’s tied with Crunchyroll.
That’s why mothers basement fucking sucks
Those are a very small portion of the videos on his channel, and they are all from quite a while ago. You cant say a youtuber sucks just because you don't like a few of their videos
Well I stopped watching his channel a while ago but I don’t care about him anymore because I just find his content boring and also I don’t like videos when they talk about how great a show is because of one element. To make a point on why a show is great you have to talk about characters, execution and other stuff besides 1 element
What's wrong with him talking about his favourite element of an anime? Him not talking about every single aspect of every anime he wants to talk about doesn't make him a bad youtube, like you were implying he was

Well here the thing though most competent reviewers actually make a critique on everything about it so people understand why the show is good or bad and make points where people can counterargue. For example DXFan619 often makes reviews of anime and actually dissects the plot and writing of anime in a logical and coherent way that often feels satisfying when you watch his videos because there are actually real points when when discussing the plot in a series whether it would be bad or good. You would most likely know him well for his series on YouTube called Anime I F-Word Hate which is where he tears apart Anime he believes are actually stupid and really just pretend to have deeper meaning when they really don’t. I’m not saying his word is gospel or anything. There are a few reviews I kind of disagree with. My point is that he at least tries his best to find the deeper meaning within an anime and sometimes works hard to create videos that are nearly an hour long for his viewers.
