  Trust me, it gets a lot better as it goes on. The first few episodes are boring as they're setting everything up, and Okabe is kind of annoying early on, but that gave him a lot of room for character development, especially after the turning point of the story.
  I, too, was about ready to drop it after a few episodes, but I pushed on for a bit longer, and it lived up to all the praise it receives imo.

  Don't know if it's your kind of thing but I definitely recommend trying out Mob once more. One thing that gets talked about a lot is the animation and fights, and yes the animation, especially in the fights are phenomenal. But BONES really put their all into it, especially to make it as close as they could to the manga while adding their own pizzazz to it. The animation is honestly top notch even just to get the punchline of a joke. But even other than that, story and character wise, it does evolve and get better as the series goes on, especially in season 2. It blends action, comedy and slice of life elements really well while also not exactly being solely one of those categories.
  
  Basically what I'm saying is to give it another try sometime! It isn't too long, considering in total (including s1 and 2) it's only 25 episodes excluding OVAs.

  update: I gave it another try. NGL the initial 4 episodes are so boring. ; especially where it is presented as Mob being taken advantage of excessively. But then after the story gains its pace and from there it is really fun. I binge-watched the 1st season and will start second season soon. The scenes were really amazing and the comedy really made me laugh a lot.

  Aw hell yeah anytime for the suggestion, glad to hear that! Fair point on the first few eps, and yeah it definitely gets better as it goes on, really glad you enjoyed it. I loved s1, but honestly season 2 gets much better, especially story wise and emotional impacting parts. All this while still keeping its charm and comedy of the first season, and keeping those beautifully animated scenes. Don't be afraid to update me whenever ya finish season 2! Would love to hear your thoughts again!

  update 2: I finished season 2. This season was more action-focused and about the development of Mob and Reigen as characters. Though I felt, the comedy aspect was more prominent in the first season, maybe due to the tragedy in season 2. The animation, graphics are on par. Enjoyed it.

  Ah, I paused/dropped cause; Firstly, I didn't get hooked to the series in the 1st episode and secondly, Monogatari series is just way too long it's not like I'll be able to finish it anytime soon. Same goes for the Fate Series. So I prefer anime max at 24 episodes. I don't want any hindrance that'll disturb my plans IRL in the future.

  Dude, you still havent watched these anime? Honestly, you're sitting on a huge gold mine. The Monogatari Series, 3-gatsu no lion, and Steins;Gate are all in my top 3, and Steins;Gate is my favorite anime ever.

  Sadly, I've gotten busier with assignments deadlines and finals coming up. Will revisit them later. I'm in no hurry

  Okay, it's understandable. Not all of us have hours of free time to watch anime like I do lol. Just don't forget about them because personally, I thought they were perfect and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
