This episode was okay. This main character sucks though.
Yeah, I dislike her naruto-ness. She’s just there to be the quirky cute girl with a reverse harem. The main flaw that I see is that in a universe where a giant dragon was the most feared entity, there would be anti-dragon magic. Plus the king dude would already know the red dragon is a player since their first encounter and would have this magic ready for the second encounter. But they cannot have that. Because then something negative will happen to Nina, who is currently filling Favaro’s position as main character and comic relief, before people build an emotional attachment to her.
Demise of Nina, by Lina:
Disliking the main character is one thing, but I think you're watching anime the wrong way.
There are individuals with different characteristics everywhere, and extraordinary encounters happen more often than you might imagine even in a fictional work as this one. That's a problem many people have actually, only considering such works as creations instead of trying to view beyond that point.
Also they already have magic that is used and pretty much works against every existing race. A dragon is merely a more powerful creature. Even if there was such a thing as anti-dragon magic, they wouldn't have been able to develop it since they never have had any subjects to test it on.
