yeah the entire universal century timeline, which is the 79 gundam, zeta gundam, zz gundam, char's counter attack and unicorn. so around 150 episodes plus the side content that is optional.

you can skip zz gundam , it's shit.
ZZ is important for Unicorn + a great series
you can watch it if you want to but 'zz' takes a lot of time to get to the main stuff with neo zeon and haman etc.(i'd say read up about its story cause the first half is quiet insufferable) (unicorn is great tho)
For the first gundam show, it's viable to watch this movie trilogy to make it go by quicker instead of watching all 40-something episodes. But the tv show is good too.
