Oh that is an interesting feature sugestion. Sort favorites by anime/manga list position.
I think they never thought about adding that, current feature works across all favorites.

True, one goes by creation order, other by the current sorting order. ~~
The independent ordering is because one is your custom lists and the order custom and default lists (say you intercalate them, keeping the ordering would still not reflect the same order.
So they are not the same lists. Is it really a bother though?
