Chinese Zodiac Challenge

Happy New Year! - 新年快乐 - xīn nián kuài lè

To celebrate the Chinese New Year and to welcome the new spring, we present the Chinese Zodiac Challenge.

In ancient China, the Jade Emperor invited all the animals to a banquet. He declared that the 12 years on the calendar would be named after each animal in the order they arrived. In this special @AWC challenge, the zodiac animals are also represented by different anime genres! We hope the new year brings you happiness, prosperity and lots of quality time to spend watching anime. Good luck!

__Watch an anime for each animal of the Chinese zodiac__

Runtime: Each anime must be a **minimum of 60 minutes**

You can calculate the runtime of completed anime by multiplying the episode duration by the number of episodes

The anime you watch __must__ be [correctly logged on AniList](https://i.postimg.cc/XJ1rvW7p/A1.png) to count

To log watched episodes, set an anime to watching and increment the episodes via the Anime In Progress panel on the AniList home page
An activity showing the episodes as watched or completed will appear in your feed

You __can__ use any number of anime from other challenges as long as they allow sharing
You __cannot__ rewatch anime for this challenge
You __cannot__ use anime you started watching or completed before entering this challenge
You __cannot__ use the same anime to fulfil multiple requirements within this challenge
You __cannot__ use speed watching to complete this challenge

Speed watching is watching an anime at 2x speed / 3x speed, etc. This goes against the spirit of AWC challenges.

There is __no time limit__ to complete this challenge

Your watching activity __must__ be visible on your profile — This includes __all episode progress__ and an activity showing each anime as completed

Why the [Cat](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_(zodiac%29)?In the Chinese Zodiac legend of "[The Great Race](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_zodiac#The_Great_Race)", The Rat tricked the Cat into missing the banquet with the Jade Emperor, so the Cat was never given a year, thus began the rivalry between cats and rats.
