there a brand new manga called Necromancer’s Evolutionary Traits and I can't find it on anilist. Does anyone know how to get on the website
There's this guide linked at the bottom of each page under the label 'Add Data', check it out :D
https://submission-manual.anilist.co/
I tried searching for Necromancer’s Evolutionary Traits and ended up here, pretty sure last time I tried submitting a manwha I must have done it poorly because it never got accepted and pretty sure someone else did it instead. It's been 3 weeks though, bit concerning.
Yeah, normally these type of things get added fast. We might have to wait longer.
Neither of you have made submissions for it, but I can confirm that it is in the queue so a data mod will examine it when they have time.
Hey, its been some time and ive seen other new manhwa get added to the website but not this, so i was wondering if there is any reason for that?
hiii, just a random user wanting to share my personal experience on this!
submissions def take a long time to be processed & accepted by mods, possibly bc they're short-staffed and combining the fact everyone could simply be busy w/ irl responsibilities at this point in time; plus, I can only imagine how tedious it is to verify & make further searches to double check if our submissions comply with AL's guidelines, searching for official refs to cite, etc.
Exhibit A:
It took them months before they accepted my submission only to be told someone alr beat me to it lol // by this point, i had stopped reading this manga but thankfully left the tab open in my browser or I might've had to read frm the beginning or worse, forget i ever encountered this series at all since there wasn't any other external ways to track my progress besides noting it down myself
``
Exhibit B:
As mentioned before, aside frm making sure our submissions comply w/ AL's guidelines, it also takes them some time to search around for official refs to be used as the final source for the description of any work
In this case, I actually submitted the description provided by an external manga reading platform as my final source during submission, but they somehow managed to circle back further & find the official YT channel for this oneshot - in addition to translating it in eng :D
TLDR: submissions take a long time since it's mainly done by people - and keeping in mind this isn't an actual job at least I don't think mods get paid for maintaining AL.. + the extra time & effort it takes to maintain a quality database accessible to all, we as users can try to be more accommodating :)
