  How do you add the lines at the beginning and end? Just switched over from MAL so Im learning how this website works

  There are a couple ways to do it. You can ___ (3 under scores) on a new line for the site's markdown, or you can use html's <hr>, which is what I prefer.

  There's a bunch of alternatives to markdown that html helps with. I tend to prefer the html options - I feel they work way more often than the markdown stuff does in terms of formatting how I think it's supposed to work. There was a writeup post about a bunch of different stuff you can find here.
  
  And one of my favorite challengers @Nicodeamus has this linked on their profile, which is nice little cheat sheet and shows some interactions with different things. Also taught me the invaluable &ensp; to force the indents I use to position my status indicators for complete/watching/incomplete.
