It would be nice if you could use a filter when you try to lookup a specific genre in your watched series.

You can.

Go on 'Browse', Check 'Only show anime on my list' and select a genre from the dropdown.

Or, if you don't want to do it manually, go to your stats, to 'genres & tags' and click on the genre you're looking for. Exact same effect, basically.

  This is a nice workaround. The only thing it's missing is that you can't sort by your own score this way.

  Yeah... I still wish 'Own score' was added as a sorting option. That'd make that way of filtering basically perfect to me.
  
  Don't assume that's anything your script could try and play with?

  If we are talking script, you can just click the genre row while the table is sorted by score.
  
  Implementing alternative sort options would be a pain (but I could add "volumes" for manga relatively easy).
  A genre and tag filter on the anime/manga lists is possible too, but requires some effort.

Oh , I see with the browse. But I think that's such a round about way. Why I go to stats in my profile, there is no "genre & tags"

  Go into your settings and click "update stats", should generate them for you.

Okay that actually worked. But I wonder why I have to click that manually when it states that it does that itself every 24 hours.
Was this reported as a bug ?

  Yeah, it's been an ongoing issue for as long as I've been on the site, but has yet to be solved.

  I had thought it got fixed at some point, since I stopped seeing reports of this issue popping up... Guess not.

  I think this is the most reported issue, or at least the one I see the most. I suspect we won't see a fix until they overhaul the stats features.

would also like to filter by list in browse. or have a genre filter in my lists. like if i wanted to see what comedy i have in my watchlist without having to scroll looking out for the orange dots on the cover.
