Legit the very first 40 seconds of the episode made me feel at home again in the world of Konosuba with their comedy. I felt exactly the same as the previous seasons which were amazing in my opinion.

As a fan of the books, the only adjective to qualify this episode is "annoying". This studio seems to like Minecraft faces and shouting all the time, so it doesn't matter if it was somehow a recap (it's different from both manga and novels), this has turned into a TV show without the recorded laughters from cheap comedy series. The only interest I had in this season was the point where the main story was heading, but so far it's insufferable.

maybe you just grew out of it over time, man. Doesn't really mean its a step down. Seems like the same kinda humor to me as S1, S2 and the movie were also more of the same kinda stuff. You growing out of it as time passes makes more sense if every new season is less fun for you.

The jokes are there but it's really the characters and their interactions that are funny.
