I just wonder why Yuu feels to give up, we know he can pursue both (love and future dreams), but I just want to know the reason. Sometimes, if the feelings is continue to be held back then it could turn as burden so what they are feel right now is something that so heavy in their heart.
I think Kureha will do anything within her power or influence to make sure that Himari will join the agency. Maybe blackmailing Hibari is just another option. Other than that, what you guys think about Saku-neesan said?
So next is last episode, but I do hope we get something clear and happy for each person. And I do hope Yuu could develop some more constructive character for last episode. Don't be simp!
I believe Kureha would still deny his creation and do whatever it takes to make Himari join the agency, as you said.
Yuu gave up because well, he can't really focus on his creation thing when he was thinking about Himari, as he said in this episode. Maybe that's that.
So next is last episode, but I do hope we get something clear and happy for each person.
yea, I hope.
The plot of trying to force an outcome by blackmail is patently absurd. These are teenagers but they're trying to make it sound like they're signing a peace treaty. I take it Yuu's passion is his hobby and they're insinuating he's going to make a career out of it, but the whole "he's a brilliant accessory maker" is in itself an excuse to contrive a stupid romantic story.
I am staying on until the last episode but my thoughts have been the same for several episodes now. I couldn't care less about the characters or their romance and want all of them to take the L.
I have to say that I would never have been able to maintain the calm that Yuu maintained, especially after having spent a night finding replacement flowers and 2 days working non-stop to complete the work, but it is clear that his work has worsened and a period of separation, however painful, can do good for both of them.
This episode: big mess.
Yuu compete against his older sister Kureha. Yuu "ocuppied with love" Yuu messed up defected accessories. Yuu sister Kureha high expectations want to check out Yuu accessories. Kureha "I was planning on giving up Himari-chan. It's Obvious, isn't it? You were supposed to give it your all in this match. But you tried to play it off with a failed piece. And I'm being unfair?" Sakura backstab Yuu. Didnt see that coming. Parents puts too much pressure on Yuu inexperience highschooler Yuu takes the blame, this is so wrong on many levels. Shinji makes a jerk move again, wants Himari to join Kureha agency. Himari "Our future dreams or our romance today. Which one are we supposed to live for?" Himari not want Yuu to give up his dream. Yuu "Farewell to our romance" "I wish you well". Heartbreaking ending. I hope episode 12 get a happy ending Yuu and Himari to be together.
I went into this thinking it might be an enjoyable waste of time, but oh boy have I ever been more wrong? I hate this, everthing from plot to characters and how they interact, like seriously I feel like the only somewhat likable character is Rion and of course she is the one that will most likely loose.
First off, how nobody brought a lawyer in yet is a mystery to me, like she's blackmailing an underage highschool girl with a debt that doesn't even exist (legally speaking) I would immediately tell her that we'll see each other in court.
Second, of course she is gonna say it's not enough, because she will be biased towards her own goals to win the bet, so why isn't a 3rd party involved with judging the end product, because that's how these types of bets usually work
Third, his OWN FUCKING SISTER betraying him on multiple occasions gotta be the most god-forsaken backstabs I've seen since the Eclipse from Berserk, holy shit! Like, cut the guy some slack, he is a high school boy in puberty so of course there's gonna be some distractions along the way, what does she expect, him never loving anybody to only focus on work, or what is her end goal? Sure isn't a happy ending for her brother, maybe she wants to see him suffering, I don't know?
What a goddamn train-wreack of a show
Damn right, agreed on all points. The contrived, absurd plot has zero basis on reality. No real character development and foisting an emotional beat with a kissing scene that has a build-up that makes no sense.
Rion would be the perfect losing heroine to appear in Makeine as another transfer student... She'd be the "cheerful loser" who probably is still delulu about her hopes in ending up with Yuu.
god DAMN this episode pissed me off
First off our boy needs to stand his ground, he WON, she liked the piece, end of story, what she did at the end was move the goalpost like a bitch, not to mention that whole "best work" and "what about the first piece" shit is a load of bull, the first one didn't plan out so he drove in the middle of the night to every store possible for a damn flower and worked his ASS off to get it ready in time and you label that as a fucking "back up" and "not working hard enough"???
Not to mention his damn sister being the one to betray him and tell her, what the actual fuck? where the hell did THAT come from??? and i DO understand the whole bad product stuff but what do you expect? you're entire group of dipshits have been pushing the two girls into each other clashing over him and then get mad at him when he struggles to handle the heat YOU LOT are giving him, like YEAH he's struggling and getting distracted because YOU assholes are making life hard for him so of COURSE he's gonna slip up, not to mention he's a damn TEENAGER for gods sake
You keep saying "keep romance out of the business" WHEN YOU'RE ASSES ARE THE ONES PUSHING THE ROMANCE INTO HIM, YOU'RE PRACTICALLY TAKING ROMANCE AND BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF HIM WITH IT, YOU DON'T GET TO SAY THAT SHIT
All that and there's still the fact that what red haired dipshit over here is doing IS LITERALLY BLACKMAIL, no competition or anything required JUST CALL THE POLICE ON HER ASS AND YOU'RE SITUATION IS OVER, but NO, not a SINGLE person in the entire group thinks to do that
Just... F ME MAN, this entire arc is them beating the shit out of the MC and making him feel like crap, taking his dreams and crushing them and then stomping on them in front of him over shit EVERYBODY ELSE is causing
ive been enjoying this anime up til this point but like. what the heck was this episode. why are adults blackmailing children and treating yuu like he just started ww3?
like yeah his production quality has slipped, but i can think of like a thousand better ways to communicate that then by treating him like the scum of the earth and tearing his life apart lol
literally just say "hey so its clear youve been distracted and havent been giving your accessories your all" instead of this janky criminal machiavellian nonsense
As bad as it sounds to hear, I agree with her sister for a reason, also quite realistic; it is not young love that carries our life, but our ambitions that later turn into a job. A high school student is usually an adolescent who is still immature and very sensitive to strong emotions, which typically then influence your life choices. What we always tend to do wrong at that age is to believe that it is more important to take advantage of youth to think and find true love that, presumably, we would then carry with us for life, when in reality it is for our ambitions that we must grow and mature.
His sister and Kureha are right (even if in a slightly derogatory tone) to remind him that what matters first and foremost is not a love story, but to realize as soon as possible a passion that has accompanied us for a lifetime, because after all, I am a person who would say the following:
"to find love you have your whole life ahead of you, your ambitions disappear with old age if you have not achieved important steps during your personal growth".
For this reason, Himari's interference and her falling in love have distracted him in a rather sensitive period of growth.
Respect with your comment. It is quite realistic as it is. For me, Yuu should learn to balance between what is really important to him right now and how important is the ideal he wants. I do hope we get clear decision of them, otherwise we could see who are still waiting until 30's
Take for example Mio and Haruki from Our Love Has Always Been 10 Centimeters Apart. They were both in love for each other, but never found the chance to declare themselves (for shyness and fear) nor to prioritize love;
SPOILER ALERT:
He was going to achieve an important path to his dream as film director, and had to leave the country and the girl he always loved because of that, while she wanted to stay in Japan to pursue her dream to become a teacher, also this one a reason to forcefully let go the guy she always loved (the beautiful part has been when at the same time they promised to themselves to stay single until one day they would've reunited again, a hint of their pure love). Indeed in the end, when he found a way to pass to Japan for a "break", after achieving his dream, he went back straight to Mio, and after their reunite, they were mature enough to finally confess to each other and admit they were always in love, finishing then together as life granted them.
This whole fucking show is so stupid bro like why is the writer forcibly making the sister a "bad guy"??? And why tf are they so pent up over this shit? theyre highschoolers bro no one fucking cares it never was that deep to begin with. Actually feels like im watching a bollywood show. It just keeps getting worse. The writer must've been inhaling straight dogwater fumes to be even coming close to thinking of this plot.
